 Ekiti State University (EKSU) Part-Time Degree Admission Form is currently on sale for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Part-Time Bachelor's Degree Programmes of Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

3-YEAR PROGRAMMES

▪ HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline.

▪ HND with Pass and PGD in a relevant discipline.

▪ University First Degree with a minimum of Pass in a relevant discipline.

4-YEAR PROGRAMMES

▪ ND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline.

▪ At least two (2) GCE A-Level passes in relevant subjects.

▪ Higher National Diploma in relevant disciplines with a minimum of Lower Credit from a recognized institution.

▪ Applicants must possess the O'Level requirements for the intended programme.

5-YEAR PROGRAMMES

▪ Five (5) credit passes in relevant O'Level subjects obtained at not more than two sittings.

SPECIFIC O'LEVEL REQUIREMENTS

B.Sc. Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, Insurance, Cooperative Economics and Management, Marketing, Industrial Relations and Personnel Management

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects from Geography, Government, Principles of Account, Commerce, History, Business Studies, Tourism, Civic Education, Yoruba, Hospitality Management and Computer Studies.

B.Sc. Entrepreneurial Studies

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other two relevant subjects.

B.Sc. Economics

▪ Five credit passes including Mathematics, Economics, English Language and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.

B.Sc. Sociology

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, any two Social Science subjects and any other subject.

B.Sc. Psychology and Behavioural Studies

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject.

B.Sc. Geography and Planning Science

▪ Five credit passes including Mathematics, English Language, Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.

B.Sc. Political Science

▪ Five credit passes including Mathematics, English Language, Government and two other subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject.

B.A. History and International Studies

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, History/Government and three other subjects, one of which must be an Arts subject.

B.A. French

▪ Five credit passes including English Language and any other four subjects.

B.A. Philosophy

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, at least a Pass in Mathematics and four other subjects.

B.A. English and Literary Studies

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Literature in English and any three subjects from Yoruba, Government, History, CRS, IRS, French, Hausa, Igbo, Mathematics, Economics and Civic Education.

B.A. Religious Studies

▪ Five credit passes including English Language and any other four subjects.

B.Sc. Mathematics

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science.

B.Sc. Statistics

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two subjects from Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Government and Civic Education.

B.Sc. Environmental Management

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social or Management Sciences.

B.Sc. Tourism and Hospitality Management

▪ Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects, two of which must be from Science, Management or Social Sciences.

TOP-UP PROGRAMME

▪ Applicants must possess the O'Level admission requirements for the intended programme.

▪ Candidates must possess at least an HND with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution or a First Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

HOW TO APPLY

▪ Visit the EKSU Portal: eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng

▪ Click on "Apply Admission".

▪ Create a new sign-in account.

▪ Log in to your dashboard and select "Part-Time Application".

▪ Make payment through REMITA.

▪ Enter your RRR on the portal to confirm payment.

▪ Complete your biodata.

▪ Print out your screening sheet after completion.

IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ O'Level requirements for all programmes must be obtained at not more than two sittings.

▪ All programmes run on a Part-Time basis (Weekends and Weekdays), except B.Sc. Computer Science which runs on Weekdays only.

▪ All completed applications must be submitted within the stipulated application period.
