The Ekiti State University (EKSU) Part-time Degree Admission Form is currently on sale for the 2025/2026 academic session. The registration for this admission period closes on November 28, 2025.

EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission 2025/2026: Key Details

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for Bachelor's Degree Programmes in the Part-time Programmes of Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria, for the 2025/2026 session.

For B.Sc. Entrepreneurial Studies: Five (5) credit passes in ‘O’Level/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB. These must include: English Language, Mathematics, Economics/Commerce and any other two subjects from Geography, Government, History, Business Studies, Tourism, Civic Education, Yoruba, Hospitality Management, Computer Studies.
For B.Sc. Economics: Five (5) credit passes in O’Level/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics, Economics, English Language and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.
For B.Sc. Sociology: Five (5) credit passes in O’Level/SCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, Mathematics, any two Social Science subjects and any other subject.
For B.Sc. Psychology and Behavioural Studies: Five (5) credit passes in ‘O’Level/SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other two subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject.
For B.Sc. Geography and Planning Science: Five (5) O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics, English Language, Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social Sciences.
For B.Sc. Political Science: Five (5) O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in Mathematics, English Language, Government and two other subjects, one of which must be a Social Science subject.
For B.A. History and International Studies: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, History/Government and three other subjects, one of which must be one of the Arts subjects.
For B.A. French: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language and any other four subjects.
For B.A. Philosophy: Five (5)’O’Level credit passes in five subjects in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examination in English Language, with at least a Pass in Mathematics and credit passes in any four other subjects.
For B.A. English and Literary Studies: Five (5)’O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language and Literature in English and any three subjects from Yoruba, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, French, Hausa, Igbo, Mathematics, Economics and Civic Education.
For B.A. Religious Studies: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language and any other four subjects.
For B.Sc. Mathematics: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examination in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science.
For B.Sc. Statistics: Five (5) O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and any two other subjects from Biology, Agric Science, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Government and Civic Education.
For B.Sc. Environmental Management: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language Mathematics. Geography and two other subjects, one of which must be from the Social/Management Science.
For B.Sc. Tourism and Hospitality Management: Five (5) ‘O’Level credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NABTEB Examinations in English Language, Mathematics and any other three subjects, two of which must be from the Faculties of Science, Management and Social Sciences.
For the Top-Up ProgrammeApplicants must possess the O’Level admission requirements for the intended programmes of study.In addition, candidates must possess at least a Higher National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit in relevant disciplines from a recognized institution or a first degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university2.

How to Apply for EKSU Part-Time Degree Admission Form

▪️ Go to the University Portal: eksuportal.eksu.edu.ng

▪️ Click on Apply Admission.

▪️ Enter your details to create a new sign-in account.

▪️ On successful log on to your dashboard, locate and click on Part-Time Application.

▪️ Proceed to make payment on REMITA. Visit the University website for guidelines on how to pay for Part-Time Application on REMITA.

▪️ After completing the payment, enter your RRR on the Portal to confirm payment.

▪️ Proceed to fill your biodata and print out your screening sheet after completion.

Important Note

▪️ The O’Level requirements for all courses are to be obtained at not more than two sittings.

▪️ All advertised programs run on a Part-Time basis (Weekends and Weekdays), except for B.Sc. Computer Science, which runs on Weekdays only.

▪️ All duly completed applications must be submitted within six weeks from the date of the advertisement.
