JAMB Mop-up Result 2026: This page is for JAMB candidates who wrote the 2026 UTME examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2026 Mop-Up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Candidates who wrote the recently concluded mop up exam on 13th June 2026 can now proceed to check their result 

This result is required if you plan to apply for admission into a university, polytechnic, or college in Nigeria.

CHECK JAMB RESULT VIA SMS

To check your result via SMS, send:

▪ UTMERESULT

to:

▪ 55019 or 66019

using the same phone number used during JAMB registration.

IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ You must have at least ₦50 airtime on your line before sending the SMS.

▪ Ensure there are no spelling mistakes in the message.

▪ Send only UTMERESULT to either 55019 or 66019.

▪ Use the phone number you used for JAMB registration.

POSSIBLE SMS RESPONSES

▪ Your Result Is Available

You will receive a message showing your UTME score.

▪ Number Not Registered

You will receive a message stating:

"This phone number was not used for registration."

This means you are using a different phone number from the one used during registration.

▪ Result Withheld

You will be informed that your result has been withheld pending investigation or due to unresolved issues.

▪ Absent From The Exam

You will receive a message confirming that you were absent from the examination.

▪ Registration Number Cancelled

You will receive a notification that your registration has been cancelled.

▪ Unauthorised Access

Candidates who gained access to the examination hall without proper authorization will receive a notification regarding unauthorized access.

Always keep your registered phone number secure and use only that number when checking your result.

CHECK JAMB ORIGINAL RESULT ONLINE

This method costs ₦1,550.

Follow these steps:

▪ Visit the JAMB Login Portal.

▪ Enter your email address and password.

▪ Log in to your profile.

▪ Locate and click on "Print Result Slip".

▪ Make payment of ₦1,550.

▪ Proceed to print and view your original result slip.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

▪ As of now, the JAMB online result-checking portal is not yet available.

▪ There has been no official announcement regarding when the portal will become accessible.

▪ For the time being, the SMS method remains the only available way to check your result.

WHY SOME CANDIDATES MAY NOT SEE THEIR RESULTS

 1. WITHHELD RESULTS

▪ Over 60,000 results have been withheld due to allegations of examination malpractice.

▪ These results are under review and may be released if affected candidates are cleared.

2. RESULTS NOT YET RELEASED

▪ JAMB releases results in batches.

▪ Candidates whose results are not yet available should check again later.

3. INCORRECT SMS FORMAT

▪ Candidates must send UTMERESULT exactly as stated.

▪ Any variation or spelling error may prevent the result from being delivered.

4. WRONG PHONE NUMBER

▪ The SMS must be sent using the phone number used during JAMB registration.

▪ Using another number may prevent successful result retrieval.

5. NETWORK ISSUES

▪ Temporary network problems may delay result delivery.

▪ Candidates are advised to try again later, especially during off-peak hours.

FINAL ADVICE

▪ Double-check that you are using the correct SMS format.

▪ Ensure you are sending the message from your registered phone number.

▪ If you experience delays, wait and try again later.

▪ Candidates whose results are not yet available should continue checking periodically, as results may be released in batches.
