The Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) has released its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Admission Form for the 2025/2026 academic session.

FUTO JUPEB Admission Form 2025/2026: Key Details 

FUTO is inviting suitably qualified candidates for admission into its one-year JUPEB Programme, which leads to the award of a JUPEB Certificate enabling Direct Entry Admission into FUTO and other JUPEB-affiliated universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Eligibility Criteria 

▪️ Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level Credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB at a maximum of two (2) sittings.

▪️ Required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and other relevant subjects to the candidate’s desired course of study in the University.

▪️ Awaiting Results: Not accepted.

▪️ Chemistry (C)

▪️ Physics (P)

Method of Application 

▪️ Application Form: Log on to the University Portal and access “Prospective Students.”

▪️ Click on JUPEB Application and apply online.

▪️ Candidates are required to use valid e-mail addresses and PERSONAL Telephone Numbers.

▪️ Candidates are advised to follow the Application Instructions very carefully and ensure they select the correct SUBJECT COMBINATIONS and their names as they appear on their NIN slip. Failure to do so may adversely affect the candidate.

▪️ All candidates are required to register for 2026 JAMB Direct Entry at the appropriate time.

▪️ Admission Status: Visit the University Website to confirm your admission status one week after successful online application.
