DUFUHS Merit Admission List 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

David Umahi University of Medical Sciences, Uburu Ebonyi State 1st Batch of the 2026/2027 admission list is out. 

The 1st Batch of the 2026/2027 admission list of David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State, is out.

Candidates who chose David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences, Uburu, Ebonyi State, and registered for the 2026/2027 admission exercise are hereby advised to check their admission status.

HOW TO CHECK DUFUHS ADMISSION LIST

Candidates can check their admission status through the university admission portal using their JAMB Registration Number.

▪ Visit the David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences admission portal: www.kdums.edu.ng/admissions/

▪ Log in using your JAMB Registration Number.

▪ Click on the Admission menu.

▪ Select Check Admission Status.

▪ Check your admission status.

▪ If you have been offered admission, proceed to print your Provisional Offer of Admission Letter.

CHECK ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB PORTAL

Candidates can also check their admission status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password.

▪ Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.

▪ Then click on Admission Status.

▪ You should then click on Check Admission Status or click on Access my CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser (⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site’.

▪ Then click on Admission Status.

You will either see Admission in Progress, Check Back Later, NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.

CASE 1: CONGRATULATIONS

If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/reject your admission and wait for further instruction.

CASE 2: ADMISSION IN PROGRESS

If you see Admission in Progress, then be patient. The status will change in a few days/weeks.

Just check back after some time.

CASE 3: NOT ADMITTED

If you see Not Admitted, please don’t give up yet. You might still gain admission.

Just be hopeful.

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to kindly accept / reject their admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone number on JAMB portal. For those whose status is showing "Admission Still in Progress" or "Not Admitted", you are advised to keep checking as the status may change anytime soon.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ADMITTED CANDIDATES

Candidates who have been offered admission are advised to carefully follow the instructions provided by the university after checking their admission status.

▪ Check and accept the admission offer on JAMB CAPS where applicable.

▪ Print your JAMB Admission Letter after accepting the admission.

▪ Print the Provisional Offer of Admission Letter from the university portal.

▪ Regularly check the university's official communication channels for further instructions on clearance and registration.
