MKU Academic Calendar 2025 is Out [UPDATED]

 MKU Senate Approves 2025/2026 Academic Calendar Concludes 2024/2025 Session

The Senate of Muhammad Kamalud-deen University (MKU) at a special meeting held on Thursday, October 2, 2025 (10th Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH), officially concluded the 2024/2025 Academic Session and approved the 2025/2026 Academic Calendar after necessary corrections to Continuous Assessments, End of Semester Lectures, and Revision periods.

Key Dates for 2025/2026 Academic Session

▪ The 2025/2026 Academic Session will commence on Thursday, October 16, 2025 (24th Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH).
▪ All new and returning students are to resume on campus from Monday, October 20, 2025 (28th Rabi’ al-Thani 1447 AH).
▪ Lectures and all academic activities will proceed in line with the approved calendar.

Remarks from the University Management

▪ Prof. M.J. Saka commended the Management for addressing earlier corrections in the 2024/2025 Academic Calendar, describing it as a step toward stronger academic planning.
▪ The Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.G. Jimoh, reassured Senate members of MKU’s preparedness for the forthcoming accreditation exercise, stressing that the University has consistently adhered to NUC standards since inception.
▪ The Registrar, Engr. M.M. Kamaludeen, emphasized that the University is fully ready for the new session with improved facilities and a stronger academic environment, stating that MKU is “coming bigger and better.”
