LASU Direct Entry Admission List for the 2025/2026 Academic Session has bee released

The management of Lagos State University (LASU) has officially released the Direct Entry Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This announcement means that all candidates who applied for Direct Entry (DE) admission into LASU can now check their admission status through the university’s official portal.

According to the information released by the institution, the admission list contains the names of successful candidates who have been offered provisional admission into various degree programmes of the university through Direct Entry.

Prospective students of Lagos State University (LASU) can now check their admission status from both the JAMB Portal and School’s Portal.

How to Check LASU Direct Entry Admission List

All prospective students are advised to follow the steps below to check their admission status:

Checking on the LASU Admission Portal

The list has also been uploaded to the school's portal. To check:

▪ Visit the LASU admission screening portal at services.lidc.lasu.edu.ng/admissionscreening/login.php.
▪ Enter your JAMB registration number and your Surname in the provided spaces.
▪ Note: Use CAPITAL LETTERS for the alphabets in your registration number.
▪ Click ‘Login’ to access your dashboard.
▪ Locate the ‘Check admission status’ link and click on it to see your result.

Successful candidates are encouraged to print their admission letter and proceed with the acceptance fee payment and other registration processes as directed by the university.

Checking on the JAMB Admission Portal

Follow these steps to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS:

▪ Go to the JAMB e-facility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
▪ Log in to your profile using your username and password.
▪ Scroll down to locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status’ tab.
▪ Click on ‘Admission Status’ and then ‘Access my CAPS’.
▪ On the JAMB CAPS page, click on the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser and select ‘Desktop site’ to get the full view.
▪ Click on the ‘Admission Status’ tab again.
▪ You will see one of the following:

▪ ‘CONGRATULATIONS…’: You have been offered admission. You must accept or reject the admission and wait for further instructions.
▪ ‘Admission in progress’: Be patient, as your status will change in a few days or weeks. Check back later.
▪ ‘NOT ADMITTED’: Don't give up. There is still a chance you might gain admission.
