YMSUK Post UTME Form 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

Northwest University (NWU) now Yusuf Maitama Sule University, Kano (YMSUK) Post UTME Form for 2025/2026 Academic Session is still on sale. Cut-off mark is 150-230. Form Cost N2,000. The closing date has been extended till Sunday, 12th October, 2025 

This is to inform the general public that the Northwest University (NWU) now called Yusuf Maitama Sule University (YMSU) Post UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Form for the 2025/2026 academic session is still on sale. Registration starts from Monday 15th September 2025 to Sunday, 12th October, 2025 

LATEST UPDATE: YMSUK Extends Post-UTME Registration Deadline 2025/2026 

This is to inform all prospective candidates applying for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise of Northwest University Kano that the University Management has approved an extension of one (1) week for the registration period. 

Consequently, the new closing date for the application is now Sunday, 12th October, 2025. 

All interested applicants who are yet to complete their registration are advised to take advantage of this extension, as no further extension will be granted.

Eligibility

UTME Candidates
▪ Must have chosen YMSUK as first choice institution
▪ Must have scored 150–230 in 2025 UTME (depending on the course)
▪ Must possess minimum of 5 credit passes including English and Mathematics in SSCE (or equivalent) at not more than two sittings
▪ Awaiting results candidates can apply (select AR as grade during registration)
▪ Must possess 2025 UTME result

Direct Entry Candidates (DE)
▪ Must have applied for DE through JAMB
▪ Must have minimum of 5 credit passes including English and Mathematics in SSCE (or equivalent) at not more than two sittings
▪ Acceptable qualifications include ND, NCE, IJMB (or equivalent)
▪ Candidates with ND must have minimum CGPA of 3.0 (Science) or 3.5 (Arts)
▪ Candidates with NCE must have at least 9 points (Education)
▪ Candidates with IJMB must have at least 7 points (Sciences) or 8 points (Arts)

Direct Entry Screening

Documents Required
▪ Original and photocopies of credentials
▪ Post UTME/DE acknowledgment slip

How to Apply

1. Visit the university website: yumsuk.edu.ng or https://nwu.edu.ng/screening/

2. Click on 2025 Admission Portal

3. Select Post UTME or Direct Entry Screening

4. Generate a REMITA payment invoice and pay ₦2,000 at any bank nationwide

5. Return to the portal, complete registration, and print acknowledgment slip

6. Present slip and other credentials during the screening

▪ Screening mode will be communicated by the university
