 UNIBEN Part time Form: University of Benin (UNIBEN) Part-time Degree Admission Form for the 2025/2026 Session is still on sale. The Closing Date has been extended till December, 5th 2025.

The University of Benin, Benin City, has announced that applications are now open for Part-Time Degree, Diploma, and Certificate courses for the 2025/2026 academic session.

LATEST UPDATE: UNIBEN extends Part-Time Degree/Certificate form, 2025/2026 

This is to inform applicants who are still interested in obtaining the Part-Time and Certificate Application form of University of Benin (UNIBEN) that the management has reopened the application portal. 

The registration has now been extended till December, 5th 2025.

Interested candidates are hereby advised to make use of the opportunity to register. 

Suitably qualified candidates are invited to process their admission into Part-Time Degree, Certificate and Diploma Programmes of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) for the 2025/2026 academic session.

APPLICATION STEPS

Please note that to complete this Admission Process, Candidates are required to fill out their details including biometrics at a JAMB approved Centre on the JAMB site (jamb.org.ng) for a fee of N3500.

The procedure for the Central Entrance Examination (CEEE) Entry Screening application is as follows: 

Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process. 

▪ Application runs from 7:00 am, 1 September 2025 until midnight, December, 5th 2025.
▪ Register at a JAMB CBT Centre as a Part-Time candidate.
▪ With the JAMB number, visit the UNIBEN official website and select the Student Portal.
▪ Create a valid email account for registration (avoid café emails).
▪ Click on Part-Time Studies Applications 2025/2026.
▪ Fill in details marked with * and complete registration.
▪ A system-generated ID and password will be sent to your email.
▪ Log in and edit your record, upload a 1×1 coloured passport photograph with red background (JPEG only). This photo will serve as your official ID throughout your stay.
▪ Pay the application fee of ₦19,500 via Remita using any ATM-enabled Verve or MasterCard.
▪ Preview, confirm, and submit your application.

Important:

▪ Applications without a JAMB registration number will not be accepted.
▪ Wrong or missing photo upload leads to disqualification.

SCREENING AND ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Candidates may not be required to sit for an entrance examination.
▪ Selection will be based on O’ Level, JUPEB, or Diploma results.
▪ Applicants should check their admission status online about two weeks after the closing date.
▪ All applicants must meet both general and faculty-specific requirements (as listed on the university website).

CLOSING DATE

The portal closes on December, 5th 2025.
No Further extension will be granted.

UNIBEN Part Time Entrance Exam Date 

The date for the entrance exams will be communicated at a later date. Parents, guardians and the general public should take note. 

However, there will be no Entrance Examinations for some programmes. Admission into such programmes will be based on the general requirements approved by the Senate.
