UNIMAID Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

The management of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) wishes to inform all candidates who applied for admission and participated in the Post-UTME screening that the First Batch Merit Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released.

As of the time of this publication, the TASUED prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal. 

How to Check UNIMAID Admission List

Admission status can be checked on the JAMB CAPS Portal and the UNIMAID Admission Portal.

Check Admission Status on JAMB CAPS Portal

As of the time of this publication, the TASUED prospective students can only check their admission status from the JAMB Portal. 

1. Visit the JAMB E-Facility Portal

2. Login with your JAMB profile username and password

3. Scroll down and click “Check Admission Status”

4. Select “Access my CAPS”

5. On your browser, tap the three-dotted lines (⋮) and enable “Desktop site”

6. Click on Admission Status

Possible outcomes:

➣ CONGRATULATIONS… → Accept/Reject the admission and wait for further instructions
➣ ADMISSION IN PROGRESS → Check back in a few days/weeks
➣ NOT ADMITTED → Remain hopeful; subsequent lists may follow

Check Admission Status on UNIMAID Admission Portal

1. Visit: UNIMAID Admission Portal

2. Enter your JAMB (UTME) Registration Number and password

3. Click SIGN IN

4. Your admission status and further instructions will be displayed

Important Notice

▪ Candidates must accept their admission on JAMB CAPS before they can appear on the UNIMAID admission list.
▪ Ensure you print your JAMB Admission Letter immediately after accepting.
▪ Successfully admitted candidates should proceed with payment of acceptance fees and other registration formalities as directed by the University.
