IAUE Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

The management of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has released the first batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. This follows the completion of the screening exercise which involved physical screening, biometric enrollment, and ranking based on JAMB UTME scores.

All successful candidates whose names appear on this merit list are advised to frequently visit the University website and official communication channels for Clearance Requirements and Procedures.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO ACCEPT YOUR ADMISSION

▪ Confirm Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
Visit the JAMB CAPS portal and check your admission status.

▪ Send SMS Confirmation

1. Use the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.

2. Send your JAMB Registration Number + space + ACCEPT (or REJECT).

3. Example: 202551991244FA ACCEPT.

4. Send to 55019 or 66019.

▪ Check for Response
A confirmation SMS will be sent to you, possibly with your passport photo, confirming your admission.

▪ Print Admission Letter and Result Slip
After accepting admission, print your colored admission letter and JAMB result slip for clearance.

▪ Payment of Acceptance Fees
Payment begins on Wednesday, 17th September 2025.

▪ Departmental and Faculty Clearance
Clearance starts on Monday, 22nd September 2025.

▪ Deadline
The clearance deadline for this batch is October 14th, 2025 (4 weeks from the date of publication).

▪ Supplementary Lists
Admissions for UTME, Direct Entry, JUPEB, and Basic Studies are in progress and will be released subsequently.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES NOT YET ADMITTED

The JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) has been activated for the 2025/2026 admission exercise. Candidates are strongly advised to monitor their admission status and act accordingly.

Steps to Monitor Admission on JAMB CAPS:

▪ Verify O’level Upload

1. Log in to your JAMB profile at https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility_/.

2. Click Check Admission Status → Access my CAPS.

3. Under My O’level Result, confirm if your result is uploaded.

4. If it shows “Awaiting Result,” visit a JAMB CBT Centre or IAUE ICT Centre to upload your O’level.

▪ Know When Admission is Offered
Monitor your Admission Status in CAPS to check if you are “Recommended” or “Offered Admission.” Once approved by JAMB, you must accept and print your admission letter immediately.

▪ Transfer of Programme
Some candidates may be considered for transfer due to UTME and O’level subject combinations. Check the Transfer Approval link on CAPS. Accept or reject the transfer. If accepted, you will be admitted to the new programme.

▪ Awaiting Results
Candidates with awaiting O’level or A’level results must upload them promptly on both the JAMB and University portals to avoid disqualification.

▪ How to Check Admission on CAPS

1. Visit http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/login.

2. Log in with your registered email and password.

3. Click Check Admission Status.

4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number → Access My CAPS.

5. On the CAPS page, click Admission Status.
