FUTA Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released.

This notice is for all prospective students of Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). Candidates who participated in the Post UTME screening exercise are hereby informed that the admission list is now available.

How to Check FUTA Admission List. 

As of the time of this update, the admission list can only be accessed via the JAMB CAPS Portal.

Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/
▪ Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password
▪ Scroll down then locate and click the Check Admission Status tab
▪ Then click on Admission Status, you should then click on Check Admission Status or Access my CAPS
▪ Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮ ) and then tick Desktop site
▪ Then click on Admission Status

You will either see:
▪ Admission in Progress – check back later
▪ Not Admitted
▪ Congratulations

Case 1: If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, Accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.
Case 2: If you see Admission in Progress, then be patient, the status will change in a few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.
Case 3: If you see Not Admitted, please don’t give up yet. You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful.

Check Admission Status on FUTA Admission Portal

Soon, the list will be made available on the FUTA Admission Portal. When that happens, the procedure below will likely be used to check admission status:

▪ Visit the FUTA Integrated Registration And Result Systems (FIRARS) portal at firars.futa.edu.ng/app/welcome/admissions
▪ Enter your JAMB registration number as your username and your surname (in uppercase) as your password.
