Alvan Ikoku COE Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

The Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education, Owerri (formerly Alvan Ikoku College of Education) has released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the institution’s admission screening can now check their status.

How to Check Your Admission Status

On JAMB CAPS Portal
▪ Visit the JAMB e-Facility portal
▪ Log in using your JAMB username and password
▪ Click on the Check Admission Status tab
▪ Select Access my CAPS
▪ Enable Desktop site if using a phone (via the browser menu ⋮)
▪ Click on Admission Status to view your result

Possible Outcomes:
▪ Congratulations – Accept or reject the admission and wait for further instructions
▪ Admission in Progress – Check back periodically; more lists may be released
▪ Not Admitted – Stay hopeful, admission is often done in batches

On Alvan Ikoku University Portal (Once Available)
The admission list may also be published on the university’s official portal. If so, simply navigate to the designated section, input your registration details, and check your status there.

How to Check Admission Status on the Alvan Ikoku Admission Portal

▪ Visit the Alvan Ikoku admission portal
▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required column
▪ Click on the Continue button to access your admission status

Registration Requirements for Successfully Admitted Candidates

Successful candidates should complete the following steps:

▪ Log onto alvanikoku.edu.ng and click on Student Portal to generate your Acceptance Fee Invoice
▪ Proceed with your invoice to Alvan Microfinance Bank to make the payment
▪ Pay the Acceptance Fee using your IPR invoice
▪ Return to the College ICT Centre with your payment receipt to print the Admission Screening Documents
▪ Proceed to the College Admissions Unit with the originals of the following:

1. O’Level results
2. Birth Certificate
3. Local Government Area Identification
4. JAMB Result Slip
5. JAMB Acknowledgement Slip
6. Recent Passport Photograph
7. Evidence of Payment of Acceptance Fee
8. All printed screening documents
