Poly Ibadan Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

The management of The Polytechnic, Ibadan has released the National Diploma (ND) Full-Time Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session. This is an important update for all candidates who participated in the admission screening exercise.

How to Check Your Admission Status

You can check your admission status using both the school's official portal and the JAMB portal.

Checking on the Poly Ibadan Admission Portal

The admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session is now available on the school's portal. To check, follow these steps:

▪️ Log on to the admission portal at https://admissions.polytechnicibadan.com/.

▪️ Click on “Continue Application”.

▪️ Enter your Email and password, then click Login.

▪️ Click on “Admission status” on your dashboard to see your status.

Checking on the JAMB Portal

You can also check your status through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Make sure you are using a Google Chrome browser and follow these steps:

▪️ Go to the JAMB e-facility website at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪️ Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password.

▪️ Scroll down and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.

▪️ Then, click on ‘Access my CAPS‘.

▪️ On your browser, select the three dots at the top right corner and tick ‘Desktop site‘.

▪️ Click on ‘Admission Status‘.

▪️ The system will display one of three possible statuses:

* "CONGRATULATIONS...": If you see this, you have been offered admission.

* "Admission in progress check back later": This means your admission is being processed. Be patient and check back in a few days or weeks.

* "NOT ADMITTED": Don't panic yet. Admission is often released in batches, so there is still hope.

If you are successfully admitted, you are required to ACCEPT or REJECT your admission offer on the JAMB CAPS portal.

Required Documents for Registration

Admitted candidates will need to present the following documents at their faculty during registration:

▪️ The Polytechnic Ibadan Application Slip

▪️ Admission Slip

▪️ Acceptance and Hostel Fee Receipt

▪️ Passport photographs with a blue background

▪️ O’ level Results

▪️ Result scratch card (NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB)

▪️ JAMB Admission Letter (for ND students only)

▪️ Letter of Recommendation from a reputable individual

Please note: Late registration will incur a penalty fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000).
