UNIMED Post-UTME Form Is Out [UPDATED]



The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo State, is inviting suitably qualified candidates for its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. UTME Candidates:

    ▪️ Must have chosen Ondo State University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED) as their most preferred (1st) Choice Institution in the 2025 UTME.

    ▪️ Must have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.

    ▪️ Candidates who did not choose UNIMED but are willing to change to the institution as their 1st choice are also advised to apply.

    ▪️ JAMB UTME Subject Combination:

    ▪️ All courses in the various Faculties require English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

    ▪️ Candidates applying for Chemistry, Computer Science, and Physics are required to present a UTME subject combination of English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

    ▪️ Must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE in Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in one or two sittings, as specified by the relevant departments.

    ▪️ For programmes such as Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, and Doctor of Physiotherapy, the above-stated five (5) O’ Level credits must be obtained at only one (1) sitting.

  2. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

    ▪️ Must have applied through JAMB and picked the University as their most preferred (1st) Choice Institution in the 2025 Direct Entry Registration.

    ▪️ Those willing to change to OSUMS as their 1st Choice Institution are also eligible.

    ▪️ Must possess an “A” level qualification or certificates such as Cambridge, JUPEB, IJMB, with a minimum of 10 points, as well as ND (National Diploma), HND (Higher National Diploma), or Degree Holders, are eligible for Direct Entry admission into 200 level.

    ▪️ Such candidates must meet the general “O” level requirements of the Faculty/Department to which they are applying.

    ▪️ Direct Entry Candidates are to request their Official Academic Transcripts to be forwarded directly from their previous Institution to the Office of the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Laje Road Campus, within Medical Village, Ondo City, Ondo State. An advance copy must be forwarded via email to transcripts@unimed.edu.ng on or before the Post UTME screening date.

    ▪️ Note: Direct Entry applicants will not be considered for admission without evidence of submission of official academic transcripts.

How to Apply for the 2025 Post-UTME Screening

Eligible candidates should log on to the University website: www.unimed.edu.ng and follow these steps:

  1. Click on Admission.

  2. Click on Post-UTME to access the Post-UTME Portal.

  3. Click on PAYMENT to make payment via the online payment system using Naira DEBIT Cards.

  4. After payment, Click to Print Payment Receipt.1

  5. On the Post-UTME Portal, Click on Application Login to Login with your UTME/DE Registration Number and Payment Transaction ID as Password to complete the Post-UTME registratio2n.

Important: Payment is ONLY via the UNIMED payment platform on the University website. On no account should candidates make payment to any unauthorized account.

2025 Post UTME Screening Date and Venue

The 2025 Post UTME Screening Exercise will be held on Tuesday, August 26th, Wednesday, August 27th, and Thursday, August 28th, 2025.

The venue of Examination and other modalities for the 2025 Post UTME Screening Exercise will be communicated to validly registered candidates via their individual portal on the University Website before the stated dates.

Important Notes

▪️ All candidates will be required to bring along the following items to the screening venue:

▪️ JAMB 2025 UTME Notification of Results Slip / Registration Slip for Direct-Entry Candidates.

▪️ Printed copy of the completed 2025 Post UTME Screening slip.
