1.0 PREAMBLE

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies [JUPEB Programme] for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The Programme shall run for one Academic Session. It is an intensive programme to prepare exceptionally brilliant candidates for admission into the 200 level degree programmes offered by JUPEB AFFILIATED UNIVERSITIES.

The Programme is located at the Lagos State University School of Basic and Advanced Studies Campus, ASCON Road, Topo, Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria.

2.0 ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Five (5) Ordinary Level Credits to include English Language.  
▪ For candidates who intend to study Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacology, Agricultural Science, Science, Education, Social Sciences, Management Sciences and Engineering, a credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory.  
▪ Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination.  

Items to come with for Qualifying Examination:  
▪ National Identification Number (NIN) Slip  
▪ Birth Certificate  
▪ O’ Level Result  
▪ One Passport Photograph  
▪ Arrangement of Names on NIN, Birth Certificate, O’ Level Result must be the same.  
▪ Awaiting result is not accepted

5.0 CRITERIA FOR TRANSITING TO 200 LEVEL

▪ The course allocated will be determined by the level of performance. Students will sit for JUPEB Examination at the end of course.  
▪ Successful candidates that will be enrolled in the degree programmes at the 200 level must purchase the Direct Entry JAMB form.  
▪ Students who failed may be allowed to repeat the programme, however they will have to pay all necessary fees.  
▪ On admission, if any student voluntarily withdraws from the Programme, request for refund of school fee will NOT be entertained.

6.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION

▪ ONLINE PAYMENT: Applicants are required to make the payment of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) only, non-refundable fee via LASU official portal.
