Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences: ND/HND Nursing Programs 2025/2026 Admissions

 

The Jigawa State College of Nursing Sciences is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its ND/HND Nursing Programmes across three campuses: Birnin Kudu, Hadejia, and Babura.

Key Dates

▪️ Data Capture Begins: July 1, 2025

▪️ Data Capture Ends: July 22, 2025

▪️ Printing of Examination Slips Commences: July 23, 2025

Application Process and Eligibility

Mode of Application: Interested applicants should visit the college website or any of the campuses for detailed information on eligibility, application procedures, and guidelines.

Candidate Requirements:

▪️ Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.

▪️ Must have scored a minimum of 150 aggregate points in the 2025 UTME.

▪️ Relevant subjects include English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

▪️ Applicants who selected any of the Birnin Kudu, Hadejia, or Babura campuses as their First Choice are encouraged to complete their data capture at any of the campuses using the provided links.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates MUST possess at least five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings. These credits must include:

▪️ English Language

▪️ Biology

▪️ Chemistry

▪️ Physics

▪️ Mathematics

These credits must be obtained from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. Candidates who did not sit for JAMB in the above subject combinations are not eligible.

Note: Only WAEC & WAEC, or NECO & NECO, or WAEC & NECO or NABTEB & NABTEB may be combined. The examination/screening date and time will be displayed on the examination slip, which will be available from July 23, 2025.
