This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi, Akwa Ibom for the 2026/2027 Academic Session to register for the Post-UTME screening as detailed below. 

The Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA), Akwa Ibom State, has commenced the sale of its Post-UTME Form for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

CUT-OFF MARK

▪ Minimum UTME Score: 160

ABOUT FUTIA

Federal University of Technology, Ikot-Abasi (FUTIA) is one of Nigeria's newly established Federal Universities.

▪ Located in Ikot-Abasi Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State.

▪ A Science and Technology-oriented University.

▪ Focused on teaching, innovation, and research in Science and Technology.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING

▪ Candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME.

▪ Candidates must have selected FUTIA as their First Choice Institution.

▪ Candidates who did not choose FUTIA as first choice but scored at least 160 may apply after changing their first-choice institution to FUTIA through JAMB CAPS.

▪ Candidates must possess at least five (5) relevant credit passes in SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or equivalent examinations in not more than two sittings, including:

▪ English Language

▪ Mathematics

HOW TO APPLY

▪ Visit: portal.futia.edu.ng

▪ Click "Click Here to Apply"

▪ Click the Undergraduate link on the top menu bar.

▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Continue.

▪ Complete the Basic Information Page.

▪ Ensure you provide a valid phone number and email address.

▪ Click Next.

▪ Review your details and click Make Payment.

▪ Enter your ATM Card details (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve).

▪ Submit payment.

▪ Enter the OTP sent to your phone and complete payment.

▪ After successful payment, return to the portal.

▪ Click Main Login.

▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number.

▪ Use your Surname as Password.

▪ Click Login and complete your registration.

▪ Print your completed Registration Form.

▪ Print your Payment Receipt.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

▪ There is a grace period of four (4) weeks within which approved admissions must be accepted by candidates.

▪ Candidates awaiting O'Level results may apply.

▪ Such candidates must ensure their WAEC or NECO results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS through a JAMB-accredited CBT Centre.

▪ FUTIA does not operate through admission agents or representatives.

▪ Anyone who makes payment to an individual's account does so entirely at his or her own risk.
