EDSU Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

Edo State University, Iyamho (ESUI) Post UTME Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session is now on Sale.

Registration for the 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise has commenced for candidates who chose Edo State University, Iyamho (ESUI) as their first-choice institution and scored 150 and above in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry candidates.

REGISTRATION PERIOD

▪ Opens: Friday, June 12, 2026
▪ Closes: Monday, August 31, 2026

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING & ADMISSION

Candidates must satisfy all of the following requirements:

▪ Registered and sat for the 2026 UTME.

▪ Obtained a minimum score of 150 and the University-approved cut-off mark for their chosen programme.

▪ Possess the required O'Level credits as specified in the JAMB Brochure.

▪ Selected Edo State University, Iyamho as their first-choice institution on JAMB.

▪ Direct Entry candidates must have registered through JAMB and meet the University's Direct Entry requirements.

▪ Must be at least 16 years old on or before 30th September, 2026.

▪ Candidates who did not initially choose Edo State University as first choice but scored at least 150 and meet the required programme cut-off mark may apply after changing their institution of first choice to Edo State University through JAMB CAPS.

▪ Only candidates who upload their O'Level results to JAMB CAPS on or before 31st August, 2026 will be considered for admission.

APPLICATION FEES

▪ UTME & Direct Entry Screening Fee — ₦2,000 (Non-refundable)

▪ Inter-University Transfer Application Fee — ₦60,000 (Non-refundable)

▪ Payments must be made only through the University's Remita platform.

HOW TO APPLY

▪ Visit the admission portal.

▪ Select your preferred application category.

▪ Read the admission requirements carefully.

▪ Enter your JAMB Registration Number correctly.

▪ Use your personal email address and phone number throughout the application process.

▪ Complete all required sections of the application form.

▪ Upload all necessary supporting documents.

▪ Submit your application.

▪ Re-login through the "Already Applied?" option to monitor your application status.

INSTITUTION CHANGE REQUIREMENT

▪ Candidates who did not initially choose ESUI but meet the requirements must change their first-choice institution to Edo State University through JAMB CAPS before applying.

NATURE OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE

PHYSICAL (ON-CAMPUS) SCREENING

The following programmes require a Post-UTME Screening Test on campus:

▪ Medicine & Surgery
▪ Nursing
▪ Law

Screening will be based on:

▪ Post-UTME Test
▪ Verified JAMB Score
▪ O'Level Results uploaded on JAMB CAPS

ONLINE SCREENING

All other UTME programmes will be screened online based on:

▪ Verified JAMB Score
▪ O'Level Results uploaded on JAMB CAPS

Direct Entry candidates will also be screened online, except those applying for:

▪ Medicine & Surgery
▪ Nursing
▪ Law

Such candidates will be required to sit for the Post-DE Screening Test.

IMPORTANT NOTES

▪ Ensure all information on JAMB CAPS matches exactly with the Post-UTME Application Portal.

▪ Provide valid phone numbers and active email addresses.

▪ Candidates awaiting NABTEB, WAEC (May/June 2026), or NECO (June/July 2026) results may apply, provided results are uploaded to JAMB CAPS on or before 31st August, 2026.

▪ Only candidates who complete their applications and upload O'Level results before the deadline will be considered for admission.

▪ Any offer of admission must be accepted on JAMB CAPS within two (2) weeks of the offer being made.

▪ Failure to accept an admission offer within the stipulated period will result in automatic withdrawal of the offer.
