ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

▪ Results must not be more than two sittings.

▪ Political Science accepts D7 in Mathematics.

HOW TO APPLY

STEP 1 – CHANGE OF INSTITUTION

▪ Candidates are expected to choose Coal City University as first choice in JAMB.

▪ Candidates who did not initially choose CCU can apply after completing Change of Institution at any accredited JAMB CBT Centre or JAMB Office.

▪ This process cannot be done at a cyber café.

STEP 2 – UPLOAD O’LEVEL RESULT

▪ Candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal through an accredited CBT Centre or JAMB Office.

▪ Admission will only be processed for candidates whose results are available on JAMB CAPS.

STEP 3 – PRINT ORIGINAL JAMB RESULT

▪ Candidates are advised to print their original JAMB result slip.

STEP 4 – APPLY ON CCU PORTAL

▪ Visit the application portal and click “Apply for a Degree Programme”.

▪ Generate an invoice for the ₦2,000 application fee.

▪ Select application type.

▪ Enter JAMB Registration Number and submit.

STEP 5 – PRINT APPLICATION FORM

▪ Print out the completed application form after submission.

STEP 6 – ACCEPT AND PRINT ADMISSION LETTER

▪ Successful candidates are expected to accept and print their admission letter.
