LASU Online Course Registration Procedure 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

 Lagos State University, LASU Detailed Online Course Registration Procedure for the 2025/2026 Session has been announced 

The Vice-Chancellor has approved the commencement of the online course registration for full-time undergraduate students in the First (1st) Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

All students (both new and returning) are, therefore, enjoined to complete the following:

▪ Payment of at least 70% and 50% school fees for Stream 1 and Stream 2, respectively.
▪ Completion of online course registration
▪ Completion of course operations (Add or Delete courses where necessary)
▪ Printing of the Course Registration Form/Examination Slip
▪ Endorsement of the Course Registration Form/Examination Slip by the Head of Department

The timeline for the completion of online course registration is two weeks from the date of this release. Students are to note that a penalty fee will be charged for late registration as may be determined by the University Management for defaulting students.

The entire student populace is, therefore, enjoined to complete both the payment of school fees (and other applicable fees) and course registration immediately.

ACTIVATION OF LATE REGISTRATION PORTAL WITH PAYMENT

Late online course registration with the payment of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) penalty fee may be activated for defaulting students.

The entire student populace is, therefore, enjoined to complete both the payment of school fees (and other applicable fees) and course registration immediately.

Furthermore, all new students are to consult with their departments for the list of registerable courses in order to prepare themselves for the online course registration that will be open soon.

All returning students are to note that their payment portal is yet to be activated and should, therefore, exercise patience and wait for further directives on both payment of school fees and course registration.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL NEWLY ADMITTED FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

▪ All admitted candidates in the 2025/2026 academic session are expected to participate in the online admissions clearance, otherwise known as LACACA.
▪ Only students who have reached 100% on the LACACA operations platform will be assigned matriculation numbers.
▪ Only students who have been assigned matriculation numbers will be able to perform all payments and online registration procedures.
▪ Matriculation numbers can be checked by visiting www.lasu.edu.ng, selecting the STUDENT tab, and clicking CHECK MATRIC NUMBER.
▪ Upload of a scanned copy of the ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM (in PDF format) on the registration portal is now part of the requirements for online course registration.
▪ Acquisition of valid NIN and LASRRA identification numbers is required.
▪ All students are to consult with their LEVEL ADVISERS for necessary advice and guidance on departmental regulations on the choice of courses before proceeding with online registration.
▪ Ensure payment of at least 70% of school fees (Stream 1) or 50% school fees (Stream 2).
▪ Ensure payment of GNS Compendium (Workshop/Seminar) fee; and Practical/Workshop/Laboratory fee (for students in programmes that make use of laboratory/workshop facilities).

STAGE ONE

1. Visit LASU website: www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to STUDENT tab.

3. Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.

4. Click LASU CONSULT.

5. Select FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE GNS COMPENDIUM (WORKSHOP/SEMINAR).

6. Continue with the procedure until a successful payment is made.

7. Repeat steps I–V as appropriate.

STAGE TWO

1. Visit LASU website: www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to STUDENT tab.

3. Click on PAYMENT SERVICES.

4. Click FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE or FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE (STREAM 2) depending on your stream.

5. Continue with the procedure until a successful payment of school fees is made.

BIO-DATA REGISTRATION

1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to STUDENT tab.

3. Click on BIODATA REGISTRATION.

4. Input your MATRICULATION NUMBER and SURNAME.

5. Click SUBMIT.

6. Complete the form appropriately and with correct information.

ONLINE COURSES REGISTRATION

1. Visit www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to STUDENT tab

3. Click on COURSE REGISTRATION

4. Click on UG COURSE REGISTRATION

5. If you don't have a password, click Enroll here

6. After creating a password, log in with your MATRICULATION NUMBER and PASSWORD

7. Upload your completed ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM

8. Read and agree to the LASU Code of Conduct by checking all checkboxes

9. Complete your course registration and print the:
   ▪ Main Registration Form
   ▪ Course Registration Form
   ▪ Examination Slip

10. Submit all printed documents to your Department for endorsement by the Head of Department.

Note: An unsigned course form is not recognized as evidence of registration.

ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS WILL BE:
▪ Issued Identification Cards
▪ Permitted to write examinations
▪ Able to access semester results

Students are advised to avoid using proxies for payments and to ensure printing of transaction receipts after every successful payment.
