LASCON Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

Lagos State College of Nursing and Midwifery, LASCON Nursing Admission List for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is out

The management of Lagos State College of Nursing (LASCON), Igando, Alimosho LGA, Lagos State, has officially released the Admission List for the 2025/2026 academic session.

All candidates who applied for admission into the Nursing Programme of the institution are hereby informed that the First Batch Admission List is now available.

HOW TO CHECK LAGOS STATE COLLEGE OF NURSING (LASCON) ADMISSION LIST

As of the time of this publication, prospective students can check their admission status through Email, Admission Portal, and the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

TO CHECK VIA EMAIL

  1. Navigate over to your email.
    ▪ Must be the email you used to register for the Application Form.

  2. Check Spam Message or Inbox Messages for any email from LASCON.

  3. If admitted, print the Admission Letter and follow further instructions written on the Admission Slip.

If you didn’t receive an email, follow the steps below.

TO CHECK VIA LASCON ADMISSION PORTAL

  1. On Chrome browser, input https://admissions.lascon.edu.ng/Main/admsta in the search bar column.

  2. Click on “Check Status”.

  3. Enter Application Number or JAMB Registration Number to check status.

  4. You’ll be redirected to the Admission Page where you’ll find your details and a message “You have been offered provisional admission to study NURSING.”

  5. Proceed with payment of Acceptance Fee, non-refundable ₦100,000 (ACCEPTANCE FEES).

TO CHECK VIA JAMB CAPS PORTAL

NB: Chrome browser is recommended.

Follow the steps below to check your admission status on JAMB CAPS and the JAMB Admission Checking Portal:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.

▪ Scroll down to find and click on the Check Admission Status tab.

▪ Click on Admission Status, or Access my CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right of your browser and tick Desktop site.

▪ Then click on admission status again.

You will see one of the following statuses:

▪ CONGRATULATIONS… If you see this, you should accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.

▪ Admission in progress check back later. If you see this, be patient as the status should change in a few days or weeks.

▪ Not Admitted. If this is your status, the article advises you not to give up hope as you might still gain admission.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ADMITTED CANDIDATES

▪ Login to the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) and ACCEPT or REJECT your admission.
▪ Use Google Chrome browser for the best experience when accessing the JAMB CAPS portal.
▪ Print your JAMB Admission Letter after accepting.
▪ Print your Original JAMB Result Slip (with passport photograph attached).

STEPS AFTER ADMISSION

If you find yourself among the lucky ones, there are still duties to perform:

▪ Send ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
▪ Once accepted, print your JAMB Admission Letter – it will be required for clearance and registration.

C. EVIDENCE OF PAYMENT:
▪ Sterling Bank ₦300,000 (School Fees)
▪ Sterling Bank ₦100,000 (Acceptance Fees)
▪ Receipts can be printed from your Student Portal, login with your Matric Number and Phone Number as your password.

D. FEES ON RESUMPTION:
▪ ₦5,000 (Nurses’ Due to be paid on resumption)
▪ ₦30,000 (Uniform Fee)
▪ ₦35,000 (Medical Checkup)

LIST OF REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES COMING INTO THE COLLEGE HOSTEL

▪ Laptop
▪ Two (2) pairs of black (flat-soled) covered shoes
▪ Three (3) white short sleeve uniforms with side pockets/trousers and tops for men
▪ One (1) school bag
▪ One (1) rechargeable lamp/torchlight
▪ One (1) plastic bucket
▪ One (1) mosquito-treated net
▪ Antiseptic/disinfectant (Dettol/Izal)
▪ One (1) pair of stud earrings (optional)
▪ Two (2) plates/spoon/cup
▪ Bathing soap/laundry soap/detergent
▪ Sponge/soap case (no native sponge)
▪ A minimum of three (3) pairs of black and white underwear/tights/boxers for boys
▪ Beverages
▪ Body cream/lotion/hair cream
▪ Sewing kit (nail cutter, thread, and needles)
▪ One (1) nurse’s watch
▪ Hair combs/brush
▪ Pocket money for feeding/incidentals
▪ One (1) pillow
▪ Two (2) sets of white/pink bed sheets/pillow slips
▪ Bath towel
▪ Blanket
▪ Sportswear (white top and shorts)
▪ Sneakers/canvas
▪ Two (2) pairs of white socks
▪ One (1) ream of A4 paper (80 grams)
▪ Twelve (12) recent passport photographs

▪ Nail polish, long/artificial nails
▪ Kerosene lantern/candles
▪ Cooking items such as pots, electric kettle
