UNILESA Secures NUC Approval for New Academic Programmes

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has Approved New Programmes For UNILESA, University of Ilesa, Osun State. 

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has officially approved new academic programmes for the University of Ilesa (UNILESA), Osun State, effective from the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to the announcement, the newly approved programmes include:

▪ MBBS. Medicine and Surgery
▪ B.Agriculture
▪ B.Sc. Agri Business
▪ B.Sc. Fisheries and Aquaculture
▪ B.Sc. Agricultural Economics
▪ B.Sc. Animal Science
▪ B.Sc. Crop Science
▪ B.Sc. Soil Science
▪ B.A. Chinese Studies
▪ B.A. Modern European (French Language)
▪ B.Ed. Early Childhood Education
▪ B.Ed. Special Needs Education

This achievement marks a significant milestone in the growth and academic expansion of the University of Ilesa and stands as a testament to the transformative impact of His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, on the institution’s development.
