FUNAAB Matriculation Ceremony Date 2025 Announced [UPDATED]

 Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) Matriculation Date for 2025/2026 Session has been Announced. 

The Management of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has officially announced the date for the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building, beginning at 10:00 a.m. This marks the official induction of newly admitted students into the University community.

Notice to All Matriculating Students

▪ The Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session and the 13th Commencement Lecture of the University will both hold on Wednesday, 19th November 2025, at the Professor Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

▪ All matriculants are required by regulation to wear academic gowns during the ceremony.

▪ Academic gowns and caps shall be collected from the respective Colleges starting from Monday, 17th November 2025.

▪ The gowns and caps must be returned not later than Monday, 24th November 2025, by 12 noon.

▪ Failure to return the gown or cap at the stipulated time will attract a fine of ₦20,000.00.

▪ In case of loss of gown or cap, a replacement fee of ₦45,000.00 will be charged.

▪ Before collecting the academic gown and cap, matriculants must present and submit a photocopy of evidence of payment of school fees for the 2025/2026 Academic Session at their respective College Offices.

▪ The Matriculation Ceremony and Commencement Lecture will commence promptly at 10:00 a.m., and all entrances to the venue will be closed once the Vice-Chancellor’s Procession begins.

▪ All matriculants are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.

▪ Matriculation is not complete without signing the Matriculation Oath online. Failure to do so implies that the individual is not a bona fide student of FUNAAB.
