ATBU Reopens Admission Portal for 2025/2026 Change of Programmes

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has officially reopened its admission portal for the 2025/2026 academic session change of programmes.

This development follows the recent extension of the admission exercise for public universities by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The university’s management has therefore approved the reopening of its portal for physical screening.

The aim of this initiative is to accommodate candidates who have not yet completed their admission procedures. As part of this reopening, eligible candidates will be allowed to change their course choices during the screening period.

However, it is important to note that this change of course does not apply to certain programmes due to capacity limits.

▪ Civil Engineering
▪ Computer and Communications Engineering
▪ Mechatronics Engineering
▪ Biochemistry
▪ Microbiology
▪ Computer Science

Physical Screening Details

▪ Date: 3rd to 10th November 2025
▪ Venue: NCC Building, Gubi Campus, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, along Ningi-Kano Road, Bauchi.

Candidates are strongly advised to attend the screening exercise within the stipulated period and come prepared with all necessary documents.
