Applications are hereby invited from qualified candidates into the Bachelor’s Degree Programmes in the Open and Distance Learning Centre (ODLC) of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Duration and Requirements for Each Programme

A. Four (4) Year Duration

▪ B.Sc. Accounting
▪ B.Sc. Marketing
▪ B.Sc. Computer Science
▪ BN.Sc. Nursing Science

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other relevant subjects. Commerce may be acceptable in lieu of Economics for B.Sc. Accounting and Marketing.

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings. The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the following: Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Economics, or Geography.

Admission Requirements for BN.Sc. Nursing Science
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than two sittings in relevant subjects. In addition, applicants should possess the Registered Nurse Certificate (RN) or its equivalent. The required subjects are English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

B. Three (3) Year Duration

▪ B.Sc. Accounting
▪ B.Sc. Marketing
▪ B.Sc. Computer Science

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
▪ Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from a recognised Polytechnic with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing.
▪ Relevant professional qualifications may be considered.
▪ Higher National Diploma (HND) with Pass in Accounting/Marketing or other related disciplines may also be accepted.
▪ Good passes in “A” Level certificates in relevant subjects may also be considered.

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
▪ Ordinary National Diploma (OND) with a minimum of Upper Credit in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Technology, or any related discipline.
▪ OND with Lower Credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology with relevant professional qualifications may also be considered.
▪ Higher National Diploma (HND) with Pass in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Technology, or other relevant fields may be accepted.

C. Two (2) Year Duration

▪ B.Sc. Accounting
▪ B.Sc. Marketing
▪ B.Sc. Computer Science

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Marketing
▪ Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Accounting/Marketing or related fields.
▪ Third Class Degree in Accounting/Marketing.
Candidates in all categories must possess at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

Admission Requirements for B.Sc. Computer Science
▪ Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in Computer Science or Computer Engineering/Technology, or any related field.
▪ Third Class Degree in Computer Science.
All candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

Computer Proficiency

Computer proficiency training and test will be conducted for all applicants.
