Delta State University, Abraka vacancies for the 2025/2026 Direct Entry admission exercise 

The management of Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka has announced vacancies for the 2025/2026 Direct Entry Admission Exercise.

Candidates who have not been admitted in the 1st Batch Direct Entry due to quota or did not met the requirement for their chosen course of study, are hereby informed of vacancies in the underlisted programmes. 

How to Apply for DELSU Direct Entry Admission Vacancies

Eligible candidates applying for consideration for the advertised vacancies are to follow the procedure below:

▪ Do a change of course/programme on the JAMB portal to a course or programme with a cutoff mark lower than the candidate’s aggregate.

Visit the university website via https://studentportal.delsu.edu.ng to effect the change made above.

Candidates from DELSU JUPEB and CCEP should also forward evidence of their JAMB change of course and/or the DELSU portal change of course to their respective Directors of Centres.

Important Notes

▪ The new course/programme chosen must have a cutoff mark lower than the candidate’s aggregate; otherwise, the candidate will not be considered for admission.

▪ For instance, since Mass Communication has a cutoff mark of 76, only candidates who scored 76 and above but have not been admitted can change to Mass Communication.

▪ Candidates must ensure that their O’Level and Direct Entry results align with the admission requirements of their newly chosen courses/programmes.

▪ The closing date for the change of course/programme is Sunday, 19th October, 2025.

No extension of the deadline will be granted.

Candidates from DELSU JUPEB and CCEP will be given priority consideration during the admission process.
