BSU Admission List 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

BSU Admission List: Benue State University (BSU) Admission List for 2025/2026 Academic Session is now out. See how to check admission status. 

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the Benue State University, Makurdi (BSU) Post-UTME screening exercise that the admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session has been released.

Candidates can now check their admission status using the BSU Admission Portal, JAMB CAPS Admission Status Portal, or the JAMB Admission Status Portal.

How to Check BSU Admission List

Steps to Check Admission Status on BSU Admission Portal

▪ Candidates are to confirm their admission status on the BSU portal by paying a non-refundable Admission Verification Fee of N400.00 (four hundred naira only) using the e-payment procedure.
▪ Visit the BSU admission status checking portal via: https://portal.bsum.edu.ng/checkAdmission.jsp
▪ Enter your UTME Registration Number in the required column.
▪ Click on ‘Submit’ to access your admission status.
▪ If admitted, proceed to accept your admission on the JAMB CAPS Portal and then pay your acceptance fee.

Steps to Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your status on the JAMB CAPS Portal, follow these steps:

▪ Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.

▪ Log in to your JAMB profile using your username and password.

▪ Scroll down to find and click on the Check Admission Status tab.

▪ Click on Admission Status, or Access my CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right of your browser and tick Desktop site.

▪ Then click on admission status again.

You will see one of the following statuses:

▪ CONGRATULATIONS… If you see this, you should accept or reject your admission and wait for further instructions.

▪ admission in progress check back later. If you see this, be patient as the status should change in a few days or weeks.

▪ Not Admitted. If this is your status, we advice you not to give up hope as you might still gain admission.

Additional Information

▪ Candidates who have been offered admission must promptly accept their admission on JAMB CAPS before proceeding to pay the BSU acceptance fee.
▪ Ensure your O’level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS to avoid admission delays.
▪ Regularly check both BSU and JAMB portals for new updates.
