UNIUYO Pre-Degree Form 2025: The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) Pre-Degree / Basic Studies Admission Form for the 2025/2026 Academic Session is now on sale. The form cost N15,500. The closing date is 30th September, 2025. See more details below. 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into a one-year Basic Studies Programme of the University of Uyo for the 2025/2026 academic session.

▪ The Basic Studies Programme is designed to prepare students for the examinations conducted by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).

▪ Holders of the JUPEB certificate would subsequently be admitted into the 200 level of degree programmes offered by the University of Uyo through Direct Entry JAMB.

▪ The available programmes in the Basic Studies Programme are listed below according to the Faculties:

A. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Candidates must possess credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings in the SSCE/WASCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB.
▪ The subjects must include English Language and Mathematics.

B. MAJOR COURSE REQUIREMENTS

▪ All successful candidates will be required to register for and take the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) into programmes of their choices from the list provided above.

C. METHOD OF APPLICATION

Eligible candidates should pay a non-refundable sum of Fifteen Thousand Five Hundred Naira (₦15,500.00) only via Remita Payment Platform.

Online Registration and Payment Instruction:

1. Visit https://eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng or www.uniuyo.edu.ng (Click on e-portals link).

2. Select Basic Studies Link and click on Create Account.

3. Enter your phone number, name and email.

4. Click the Pay Now button to make payment.

5. Payment can be made online or at any bank branch.

6. After payment, return to the online portal and click on Register Link to complete your registration.

D. CLOSING DATE

▪ The closing date for registration is 30th September, 2025 by Midnight.
