UNICAL Resumption Date 2025 Announced [UPDATED]

 University of Calabar (UNICAL) resumption date for 2025/2026 academic session has been announced. 

The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the official resumption date for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a release signed by the University Registrar, Dr. (Mrs.) Chukwuka Icha, the schedule for both fresh and returning students is as follows:

Resumption Schedule

▪ Fresh Students Arrival: Monday, September 29, 2025
▪ Screening & Registration (Fresh Students): Begins Tuesday, September 30, 2025
▪ Returning Students Arrival: Thursday, October 2, 2025
▪ Registration (Returning Students): Begins Thursday, October 2, 2025
▪ Commencement of Lectures (All Students): Monday, October 6, 2025
▪ Late Registration (All Students): From Monday, October 13, 2025 – Wednesday, October 19, 2025

Examinations

▪ Supplementary Examinations: Monday, November 3 – Friday, November 7, 2025
▪ Summer Examinations: Wednesday, November 5, 2025
