The management of Plateau State University (PLASU), Bokkos, has officially released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session. The calendar, signed by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, outlines key academic activities for both the first and second semesters.

First Semester

▪ Monday, 29th September 2025 – Online registration begins for fresh students
▪ Monday, 6th October 2025 – Registration begins for returning students
▪ Monday, 13th October 2025 – Normal registration ends; lectures commence
▪ Monday, 3rd November 2025 – Admissions officially close
▪ Tuesday, 4th – Thursday, 6th November 2025 – Freshers’ orientation
▪ Friday, 7th November 2025 – Matriculation ceremony
▪ Monday, 22nd December 2025 – Friday, 2nd January 2026 – Christmas break
▪ Monday, 5th January 2026 – Lectures resume
▪ Friday, 9th January 2026 – End of first semester lectures
▪ Monday, 19th January 2026 – Examinations begin
▪ Wednesday, 4th February 2026 – Examinations end
▪ Tuesday, 17th – Friday, 20th February 2026 – Departmental/Faculty Board meetings to consider results
