Kwara Poly Academic Calendar 2025 is Out [UPDATED]

 Kwara Poly Academic Calendar: The Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin approved Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Session is Out. 

The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, through the Office of the Registrar, has officially released the approved Academic Calendar for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The calendar covers full-time, part-time, and SIWES students across the three semesters.

First Semester 2025/2026

▪ Resumption and registration of all new students (full-time and part-time): 6th October 2025
▪ Lectures commence for all returning and new students (excluding SIWES): 13th October 2025
▪ First continuous assessment test: 27th–31st October 2025
▪ SIWES students resume and begin lectures: 10th November 2025
▪ Second continuous assessment test: 24th–28th November 2025
▪ Christmas and New Year break: 22nd December 2025–5th January 2026
▪ Orientation for new students: 12th–14th January 2026
▪ Matriculation: 15th January 2026
▪ Lectures end: 16th February 2026
▪ First semester examinations (CBT and written): 17th February–13th March 2026
▪ Semester break: 16th–27th March 2026
▪ Deadline for submission of scores: 27th March 2026

Second Semester 2025/2026

▪ Resumption and lectures commence: 30th March 2026
▪ First continuous assessment test: 20th–24th April 2026
▪ Second continuous assessment test: 19th–22nd May 2026
▪ Lectures conclude: 26th June 2026
▪ Students’ Union Government (SUG) Week: 29th June–3rd July 2026
▪ Second semester examinations: 6th–24th July 2026
▪ SIWES activities begin: 17th August 2026
▪ Deadline for submission of scores: 31st July 2026
▪ Sessional and diploma results considered: 21st September 2026

Third Semester 2025/2026 (Part-Time Students Only)

▪ Resumption and lectures commence: 17th August 2026
▪ Lectures end: 2nd October 2026
▪ Examinations: 12th–23rd October 2026
▪ Deadline for submission of scores: 6th November 2026
▪ Sessional and diploma results considered: 9th–13th November 2026
