COOU Admission List 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Admission List for 2025/2026 Session is out. 

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Post-UTME of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) that the Provisional Admission List of successful candidates has been released.

Candidates can now proceed to check their admission status via the steps below.

How to Check Name on COOU Admission List

As of the time of this publication, the Admission List is only available on the JAMB Admission Portal and JAMB CAPS Portal.

Check Admission Status on JAMB Portal

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

▪ Visit JAMB e-Facility
▪ Login to your JAMB profile with your username and password
▪ Scroll down and locate Check Admission Status
▪ Click on Admission Status
▪ Select Access my CAPS
▪ On your browser, click the three-dotted lines (⋮) at the top right and tick Desktop site for better access
▪ Click on Admission Status

You will either see:

▪ Case 1: CONGRATULATIONS – Accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instructions.
▪ Case 2: Admission in Progress – Be patient; the status will change in a few days/weeks. Keep checking.
▪ Case 3: Not Admitted – Do not give up. You might still gain admission. Remain hopeful.

Check Admission via COOU Portal

The admission list will also be available on the COOU school portal. When activated, follow the steps below:

▪ Log on to the COOU admission portal via https://portal.coou.edu.ng/prospective_students#success
▪ Login with your JAMB registration number
▪ If admission is offered, accept the offer and proceed to pay your acceptance fee

Note: COOU Acceptance Fee is ₦26,315 (Twenty Six Thousand, Three Hundred and Fifteen Naira) and must be paid within two weeks of admission offer.

▪ Is it possible to gain admission on COOU portal while CAPS has not offered admission?
Yes, this is possible.

▪ I have been admitted via COOU portal, what next?
Generate your Acceptance Fee Remita and pay via designated banks such as Fidelity, Zenith, and EcoBank.

▪ After paying the Acceptance Fee, what should I do?
Proceed to a cyber café to fill in your biodata. Once successfully submitted, an Acceptance Letter will be issued to you. This letter must be kept safe as it will be required during faculty clearance.

▪ What else is required after biodata update?
Ensure you have printed your JAMB Admission Letter. It will be required during clearance.
