COOU Admission List 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) Admission List for 2026/2027 Session is out.

This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2026/2027 Post-UTME of the University that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates.

The 2026/2027 Admission Exercise Has Commenced In Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State

The Universiry Community and the General Public are hereby informed that the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University has commenced admission of candidates for 2026/2027 Academic session.

Consequently, candidates who choose the University as their first choice institution and processed it’s Post UTME Screening, as directed, are advised to check their Individual portal daily, to accept an offer of admission when made to them, then, proceed with other registration formalities.

Kindly note that, an offer of admission shall elapse after two (2) weeks from the date the offer was made.

HOW TO CHECK NAME ON COOU / ANSU ADMISSION LIST

As of the time of this publication, the Admission List is available on the JAMB Admission Portal and School’s Portal.

CHECK ADMISSION STATUS ON JAMB PORTAL

To check your admission status on JAMB CAPS Portal and JAMB Admission Checking Portal, please follow the procedure below:

▪ Go https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/.
▪ Login to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
▪ Scroll down then locate and click the ‘Check Admission Status‘ tab.
▪ Then click on Admission Status, You should then click on check admission status or Click on Access my CAPS.
▪ Select the three-dotted lines at the top right corner of your browser ( i.e. ⋮) and then tick ‘Desktop site‘. (you can click on the image for better view)
▪ Then click on admission status

You will either see admission in progress check back later, or NOT ADMITTED, or CONGRATULATIONS.

CASE 1:

If you see CONGRATULATIONS…, accept/Reject your admission and wait for further instruction.

CASE 2:

If you see admission in progress, then be patient, the status will change in few days/weeks. Just check back after some time.

CASE 3:

Not Admitted, if in such case, please don’t give up yet! You might still gain admission. Just be hopeful!

If you were admitted, congratulations on your admission into COOU (formerly called ANSU).

Candidates who have been offered admission are to proceed to kindly accept / reject their admission by sending ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019 using their registered phone number on JAMB portal. For those whose status is showing "Admission Still in Progress" or "Not Admitted", you are advised to keep checking as the status may change anytime soon.

Kindly log on to ANSU admission portal via https://portal.coou.edu.ng/login

▪ Login to the portal using your JAMB registration number

If admission is offered, candidate is expected to accept the offer, and pay his/her acceptance fees within two weeks.

AFTER PAYING COOU ACCEPTANCE FEE, WHAT NEXT?

Go to cyber cafe to fill in your bio data once u are done filling in ur biodata ..and it went successful A LATTER WILL BE ISSUED TO YOU FROM THE SCHOOL WHICH IS YOUR ACCEPTANCE LATTER…GUIDE IT SAFELY IT WILL BE REQUIRED FROM YOU FOR CLEARANCE VIA faculty

AFTER FILLING COOU STUDENT PROFILE BIODATA WHAT NEXT?

Make sure you have printed your admission latter that is jamb admission latter. It will be required from u during clearance.
