UMYU Post UTME Form 2025/2026 is Out [UPDATED]

 

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) wishes to invite candidates who applied for admission into the university and have the institution as their first choice, through the year 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or Direct Entry (DE) application to register for aptitude test/screening via the University website www.umyu.edu.ng.

Key Information & Dates

▪️ Form Cost: The official cost for the screening form is Two Thousand Naira Only (₦2,000).

▪️ Online Registration Period: The online registration will begin on Friday, August 29, 2025, and will close on Thursday, September 25, 2025.

▪️ Screening Exam: Eligible UTME candidates will be required to participate in an aptitude test. The specific date and time for the test will be indicated on your registration slip after you have successfully completed your online registration.

▪️ Exemptions: Visually impaired candidates are exempt from the Post-UTME aptitude test but must still register online and submit hard copies of their credentials to the Office of the Registrar.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the aptitude test/screening, you must meet the following criteria:

For UTME Candidates:

▪️ You must have chosen UMYU as your first choice institution.

▪️ You must have met the minimum UTME cut-off mark for your chosen program.

▪️ You must have a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at the O’ level, which must include both English and Mathematics.

▪️ You must have sat for the correct UTME subject combination for your program.

For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

▪️ You must meet the same O' level requirements as UTME candidates (a minimum of five relevant credits, including English and Mathematics).

▪️ In addition to the above, you must also have obtained the minimum ‘A’ Level points for the program you applied for.

Required Documents

You will need to upload the following documents to the University's Post-UTME portal during your registration:

▪️ JAMB Result Slip: Your 2025 JAMB Result Slip for UTME candidates, or your 2025 JAMB Registration Slip for Direct Entry candidates.

▪️ O' Level Result(s): Your results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

▪️ Identification: A form of identification such as an Indigene Letter, National Identification Card, or International Passport.

▪️ A' Level Result: This is specifically for Direct Entry candidates and should include your Diploma, IJMB, or NCE result.

Step-by-Step Application Process

  1. Go to the UMYU College Portal.

  2. Click on 'Register a new Account' to fill out the initial registration form. Note: This step should be done only once. If you have registered before, simply log in to continue your application.

  3. Once your account is set up, log in and make the required payment.

  4. After successful payment, return to your profile to edit your application profile. This is where you will upload a recent passport photograph and fill in your biodata.

  5. After completing the form, print your Screening Acknowledgement Details.

  6. For UTME candidates, remember to bring the payment slip for the aptitude test and hard copies of your credentials to the test venue.

  7. Direct Entry candidates should also forward hard copies of their credentials to the Office of the Registrar after completing their online registration.
