IAUE Modalities and Procedures for 2025/2026 Screening exercise [UPDATED]

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has announced the modalities for its 2025/2026 screening exercise. The screening will be conducted in a hybrid mode and will not involve a separate Post-UTME test.

Key Dates and Venue

▪ Screening Period: Monday, August 18, 2025, to Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

▪ Time: 8:00 a.m. daily.

▪ Venue: Information and Communications Technology Centre (ICTC), Rumuolumeni Campus, Port Harcourt.

Screening Modality and Scoring

▪ No Post-UTME Test: The university will not conduct a separate Post-UTME examination.

▪ Scoring: Your JAMB UTME score will be used as the 100% score for all candidates.

▪ Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Will be screened based on their uploaded documents. It is advised to have A'level results verified on the Nigerian Post-Secondary Data System (NIPEDS).

Actions Required by Candidates

▪ All candidates are required to attend the university's main campus for O'level/A'level Certificate Verification, Data Screening, and a Compulsory Biometric Validation Exercise.

▪ Monitor the JAMB Portal: Candidates should regularly check their JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) portal for updates. You may be required to change your course or make data corrections within a specified period.

▪ Awaiting Results: Candidates with awaiting results for O'level or A'level should not panic. A separate date will be fixed for their online screening once results are available and uploaded to both the JAMB and university portals. These candidates are advised to visit the Admissions Unit for physical screening immediately after their results are uploaded.

▪ The university will send notifications via secured text messages.
