FUGASHUA Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 


This is to inform the public especially prospective students of Federal University Gashua, Yobe (FUGASHUA) that the FUGA Post UTME / Direct Entry Form for the 2025/2026 academic session will be on sale from Wednesday, August 27, 2025, to Sunday, September 28, 2025.

This guide outlines the complete process for the online screening exercise for admission into degree programs at the Federal University, Gashua for the 2025/2026 academic session, as detailed in the provided documents.

Please Note: FUGASHUA will only conduct online screening this year. You will not be invited for physical screening or aptitude test.

▪ Registration Period: Online screening will run from Wednesday, August 27, 2025, to Sunday, September 28, 2025.

▪ Registration Fee: The cost is Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000) only.

▪ Screening Method: The university will conduct an online screening only. There will be no physical screening or aptitude test. All admission notifications will be sent through your CAPS account.

Eligibility Criteria

▪ For UTME Candidates:

▪ You must have chosen Federal University, Gashua as your First Choice institution.

▪ Your JAMB score must be 150 or above.

▪ Note that certain courses have higher cut-off marks:

▪ 170 for Biochemistry, Computer Science, and Microbiology.

▪ 160 for Biology.

▪ For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:

▪ You must have chosen Federal University, Gashua as your First Choice.

▪ You must possess one of the following qualifications:

▪ Distinction, Credit, or Merit in NCE.

▪ IJMB with 6 points and above.

▪ Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND).

▪ HND with a lower credit or above.

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Follow these steps exactly as outlined to complete your online screening registration:

  1. Create an Account: Go to the Federal University, Gashua APPLICATION PORTAL and click on "register."

  2. Fill the Registration Form: Fill out the opened form to create your UTME/DE screening account with the following details:

    ▪ JAMB number

    ▪ First name

    ▪ Surname

    ▪ Entry mode (UTME/DE)

    ▪ Email Address (which will be your Username)

    ▪ Password (must contain an uppercase letter and a number)

  3. Register Account: Click the "register account" button.

  4. Confirm Email: A confirmation link will be sent to the email address you provided. Click on the "confirm email" button in that email. You will then be redirected to the payment page.

  5. Choose a Payment Option:

    ▪ Bank Payment: Click the "Pay Icon," print the invoice (RRR invoice), and proceed to make your payment at the bank.

    ▪ ATM Payment: Click the "Pay Icon," select your card type (MasterCard, Verve card, etc.), enter your phone number, and click "Proceed." You will be redirected to the unified payment page where you'll enter your card details and click "OK." An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your phone. Enter the OTP and click "submit."

  6. Log In: After successfully making the payment, return to the site and log in using your username (email address or JAMB number) and the password you created.

  7. Continue Registration: You will be redirected to the course selection page to continue your registration.

  8. Provide Course Details: On this page, provide the following information:

    ▪ UTME first choice

    ▪ UTME second choice

    ▪ UTME subject combination

    ▪ UTME score

  9. Complete Biodata Form: You will be redirected to a biodata form. Fill in all the required fields, upload a recent passport photograph, save, and then click "next."

  10. Provide O'level Results: Here, you are required to provide details of your five (5) relevant O'level credits, which must include Mathematics and English, obtained in not more than two sittings. You can update this information later if your result is still awaited.

  11. Provide Previous Institutions Details: For DE students, you must provide details of any previous institutions you attended and the qualifications you obtained.

  12. Upload Documents: You will be redirected to the documents upload section. Here, you must upload scanned copies of all your certificates and results.

  13. Submit Application: Click "submit" and then confirm your submission.

  14. Confirmation: Upon successful completion, the message “Application Submitted Successfully, It Cannot Be Altered. Thanks” will be displayed.

  15. Aptitude Test: Note that there will be no physical screening or aptitude test. You will be notified of your admission status through your CAPS account once admitted.
