BASUG/SAZU Merit Admission List 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

Bauchi State University Gadau (BASUG) Admission List for the 2026/2027 Academic Session is out. This is the Merit Admission List.

This is to inform the general public, particularly candidates who applied for admission into Bauchi State University Gadau for the 2026/2027 Academic Session, that shortlisted candidates have been released.

The list can be found on the University's portal.

The shortlisted candidates are invited to attend the physical screening from Monday, 28th September, 2026 at the respective campuses where their programmes are domiciled.

Candidates are to note that the physical screening closes on Friday, 9th October, 2026.

Candidates are by this notice advised to visit the University portal for the admission list.

Candidates are to use the University portal to check their names on the Merit Admission List.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING

Shortlisted candidates should take note of the following.

Shortlisted candidates are required to come along with the originals and photocopies of the following credentials for verification at the point of physical screening.

▪ Computer printout of SSCE Result

▪ JAMB Result

▪ Online Screening Form

▪ A recent passport photograph

▪ Scratch card for verification of O'Level

▪ Candidates must ensure that they upload their O'Level results on the JAMB Portal at any JAMB-accredited centre before coming.

▪ Two (2) to three (3) days after a successful screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

▪ Only candidates who accept their admission on JAMB will be able to access the Sa'adu Zungur University admission on the portal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All candidates must do the following before screening:

▪ Upload their O'Level results on JAMB CAPS or their admission will not be processed.

▪ Change to the course for which they are shortlisted before they can be screened.

▪ Bring the originals and photocopies of their credentials for the screening exercise.

▪ Bring one (1) passport photograph.

▪ Bring the scratch cards of the O'Level examination they are submitting.

▪ Candidates must ensure that they upload their O'Level results on the JAMB Portal at any JAMB-accredited centre before coming.

▪ Two (2) to three (3) days after a successful screening, candidates should check the JAMB Portal to accept and print their JAMB Admission Letters.

CHECK ADMISSION STATUS ON THE JAMB PORTAL

At the moment, the list is not yet on the JAMB Portal. When it is available, follow the steps below:

▪ Log in to your JAMB Portal using your username and password.

▪ Scroll down and click Check Admission Status.

▪ Click Admission Status.

▪ Click Check Admission Status or Access My CAPS.

▪ Select the three-dotted menu (⋮) at the top-right corner of your browser and tick Desktop Site.

▪ Click Admission Status.

▪ Your status will display one of the following:

▪ Admission in Progress – Check back later.

▪ Not Admitted.

▪ Congratulations.

Congratulations on your admission. Please ensure you attend the physical screening as scheduled.
