POLAC Post UTME Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

POLAC Form 2026: Nigerian Police Academy (NPA/POLAC) 13th Regular Course Application Form Session is now on sale. The closing date is 15th JULY, 2026, The cut-off mark is 180. 

The Nigeria Police Academy (NPA), Wudil, Kano, invites suitably qualified Nigerian citizens for admission into its 13th Regular Course Degree Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Candidates admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy degree programme will undergo a combined academic and police training for a minimum period of five (5) years leading to the award of Bachelor's Degrees and commissioning into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).

Sale of online application forms commenced on 3rd June, 2026 and will close on 15th July, 2026.

NOTE: Application into Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC) requires a National Identity Number (NIN).

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION

To apply for admission into the Nigeria Police Academy, applicants must:

▪ Be of Nigerian origin by birth.

▪ Possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN).

▪ Have obtained a minimum score of 180 in the 2026 UTME.

▪ Select Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil as first choice institution in JAMB.

▪ Possess a minimum of six (6) credits in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.

▪ Be between 17 and 21 years of age by 31st October, 2026.

▪ Be medically, physically, and psychologically fit.

▪ Male candidates must be at least 1.67 metres tall.

▪ Female candidates must be at least 1.64 metres tall.

▪ Male candidates must have a minimum expanded chest measurement of 86cm (34 inches).

▪ Must not be married or pregnant at the time of admission.

▪ Must possess a valid email address and phone number.

▪ SSCE results or certificates obtained before 2021 will not be accepted.

Applicants are required to:

▪ Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

▪ Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦6,000.00 (inclusive of ₦2,000.00 Post-UTME examination fee).

▪ Complete the online application form.

▪ Upload scanned copies of:

▪ SSCE Result

▪ Birth Certificate

▪ State of Origin Certificate

Applicants must also:

▪ Apply through JAMB.

▪ Sit for the 2026 UTME.

▪ Obtain a minimum score of 180.

Only candidates who meet the minimum cut-off mark and purchase the Academy application form will be eligible for the selection examination.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

▪ Applications must be submitted online.

▪ After submission, candidates should download and print their Acknowledgement Form.

▪ Candidates who meet the required cut-off mark will be able to download and print their Examination Card.


SELECTION EXAMINATION

The Nigeria Police Academy Selection Examination will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).

The examination consists of:

SECTION A (COMPULSORY)

▪ General Knowledge

▪ Current Affairs

▪ English Language

▪ Mathematics

Other sections will be based on the candidate's chosen faculty.

The examination date will be communicated later.

Only candidates who scored 180 and above in UTME will be eligible to sit for the examination.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT EXAMINATION CENTRE

Candidates must come with:

▪ Acknowledgement Form

▪ Examination Card

▪ Original JAMB Result Slip

▪ Two recent postcard-sized photographs (3.5 × 5 inches)

The photographs must:

▪ Show only the chest upwards.

▪ Have the candidate's name written at the back.

▪ Include State of Origin.

▪ Include Examination Centre.

▪ Include Candidate's Signature.


PHYSICAL SCREENING EXERCISE

Candidates who pass the CBT will be invited for an Automated Physical Screening Exercise.

Applicants must present original copies of:

▪ Educational Qualifications

▪ Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age

▪ Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Recognized Hospital

▪ Evidence of Good Character from Village or District Head

▪ Indigene Certificate signed by Local Government Chairman or Secretary

▪ Guarantor Form signed by:

▪ A Public Servant not below Grade Level 13

▪ A Police Officer not below the rank of CSP

▪ Equivalent Officer in Armed Forces or Paramilitary Service


MEDICAL SCREENING AND INTERVIEW

Candidates successful in the Aptitude Test will proceed to:

▪ Automated Medical Screening

▪ Automated Interview

▪ Final Selection Exercise


NOTIFICATION OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

▪ Successful applicants will receive notifications through SMS and Email.

▪ Training commencement date will be announced later.


NATURE AND DURATION OF TRAINING

Candidates admitted into the Nigeria Police Academy will undergo:

▪ Combined Academic and Police Training.

▪ Minimum duration of five (5) years.

Successful candidates will graduate with:

▪ Bachelor's Degree.

▪ Commission into the Nigeria Police Force as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).


IMPORTANT NOTICE

▪ Applicants must upload scanned copies of their WAEC/NECO results.

▪ Only results printed using WAEC/NECO Result PIN/Card will be accepted.

▪ Applicants must upload:

▪ Birth Certificate

▪ Certificate of Origin

▪ Completed online forms and guarantor forms must be printed and presented during physical screening.

▪ Any updates concerning the admission exercise will be communicated through the Academy's official website.
