Lead City University (LCU), Ibadan, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Undergraduate Academic Programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 Academic Session at Lead City University.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Minimum UTME score of 160

▪ At least five (5) relevant O'Level credits obtained in not more than two sittings

▪ Acceptable O'Level qualifications include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE O'Level or equivalent

▪ Credits must include English Language and other subjects relevant to the chosen course

UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits including English Language in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, GCE or equivalent

▪ Results must not exceed two sittings

▪ Candidates with GCE A'Level, IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, OND, University Diploma or equivalent qualifications can apply through Direct Entry into 200 Level

▪ Conversion Programmes (2 years) are available for holders of University Degrees, HND, ACA and equivalent qualifications

▪ Candidates who did not choose Lead City University during UTME registration can still apply

▪ Candidates without UTME may apply for IJMB or JUPEB Programmes

▪ Successful IJMB/JUPEB candidates can gain admission into 200 Level through Direct Entry

▪ IJMB and JUPEB certificates are recognized by JAMB for Direct Entry admission into Nigerian and foreign universities

HOW TO APPLY FOR LEAD CITY UNIVERSITY ADMISSION

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

▪ Four (4) passport photographs with white background (formal dressing)

▪ Six (6) small envelopes and six postal stamps

▪ WAEC/NECO/NABTEB scratch card

▪ Two photocopies of credentials (UTME result slip, O'Level result and/or academic transcripts)

▪ Two photocopies of birth certificate

▪ Sponsor's letter (typed)

▪ Photocopy of sponsor's identification card

▪ Recommendation letter (not written by sponsor)

▪ Evidence of payment for the admission process

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

STEP 1

▪ Obtain and complete the admission application form

STEP 2

▪ Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦10,500

STEP 3

▪ Gather all required documents

STEP 4

▪ Submit scanned copies of the completed application form, supporting documents, and payment receipt to:

▪ Successful applicants will be notified through email
