Basic Admission Requirements

▪ Candidates must possess five (5) O’Level credit passes in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

▪ Minimum JAMB Scores:
▪ Medicine & Surgery – 200
▪ Nursing Sciences – 180
▪ Law – 200
▪ Architecture – 150
▪ Computer Science – 150
▪ Education Courses – 150
▪ Other Programmes – 150

▪ Candidates who did not initially choose Godfrey Okoye University as first choice must carry out a Change of Institution through JAMB.

▪ Possession of JAMB Admission Letter completes the admission process.

Admission Procedure

▪ Applications are done online.
▪ After submission, applicants will receive a response through their email within three working days regarding admission status.
▪ Candidates are advised to provide active email addresses during registration.

Payment of Fees

For the following programmes, candidates should not pay tuition fees until officially instructed through email by the University Admissions Officer:

Other admitted candidates can proceed with payment of:

▪ Acceptance Fee
▪ Tuition Fee
▪ ICT Fee
▪ Other applicable fees

according to the university payment guidelines.

For NURSING, MEDICINE & SURGERY & LAW, please do not pay TUITION until you have been advised to do so through email by the University Admissions Officer. Other faculties can start paying fees after receiving an admission offer, including the Acceptance Fee, Tuition, ICT, and other applicable fees (see the attached Fee Structure).
