FUNAAB Post UTME Form 2025/2026 Is Out [UPDATED]

 

Dear Prospective Student,

If you're looking for undergraduate admission into 100, 200, or 300 Levels at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), and you've chosen FUNAAB as your first-choice institution with JAMB, you're invited to apply online for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME Screening Exercise. The 2025/2026 academic session is set to begin in September 2025.

Admission to FUNAAB is highly competitive. If you're successful, you'll be offered admission through JAMB's Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) based on the university's capacity. You'll also need to complete an intensive ICT Training and Orientation Programme to help you prepare for life at FUNAAB.

ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION

GENERAL O'LEVEL REQUIREMENT

Applicants must possess a minimum entry requirement of five (5) O’Level Credits in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. Applicants are advised to check FUNAAB's brochure and confirm the admission requirements into their respective Degree Programmes before logging in to fill out their e-application form.

UTME CANDIDATES

Candidates must have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as their Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtained from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), sat for the 2025/2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), and scored a minimum of 160 marks.

DE CANDIDATES

Candidates with a minimum of Upper-Credit or its equivalent, who have also applied to JAMB for admission and chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as Most Preferred Institution.

Furthermore, they are required to have submitted their transcript (OND/HND/NCE candidates) or Certified True Copy of Statement of Results duly stamped by the Director/HOD of the institution they graduated from (A'level candidates) to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta not later than Friday, August 15, 2025.

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION/COURSE

All requests for or enquiries about changing your institution or course should be directed to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

GUIDELINES FOR ONLINE APPLICATION

▪️ To start, log in using your JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Number. This will generate your Application Invoice, which includes your REMITA Reference Number and other payment details. You'll need to pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (₦2,000), excluding Portal Access and REMITA charges.

▪️ Make your payment at any bank nationwide that accepts REMITA, or pay online using a debit card, Internet Banking, or directly via the Remita website. Remember to use your REMITA Reference Number.

▪️ After payment, return to the University's Admission Portal, log in, and complete the e-application form.

▪️ Your personal record, pulled from JAMB’s portal, will be displayed across several pages and cannot be changed. Make sure you accurately input any required information like contact details, O’Level examination specifics, and OND/HND/NCE/A’Level/IJMB/JUPEB results if they apply to you.

▪️ On the final acknowledgement page, carefully review your application and confirm all your entries before clicking the Submit button. Afterwards, print out and keep a copy of your Application Form, which should include your passport photograph.

IMPORTANT DATES

▪️ Application opens on Monday, July 21, 2025.

▪️ Application closes on Friday, August 15, 2025.

CORRECTION OF DATA

▪️ If you need to correct any wrongly entered data, there's a penalty fee of One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (₦1,500). This correction can be done online, but not later than the application closing date.

▪️ Please note that no complaints regarding incorrect contact details, O’Level results, or OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results will be accepted after the deadline.

▪️ Candidates who upload incorrect O’Level results and/or UTME/OND/HND/NCE/A'Level/IJMB/JUPEB results will be automatically disqualified.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

▪️ You can also express interest in the Part-time (weekday evenings) option for your preferred course if it's available. More details on part-time programmes can be found on the FUNAAB Part-Time Portal.

▪️ Direct Entry (DE) candidates must submit their transcript (for OND/HND/NCE candidates) or a Certified True Copy of their Statement of Results, duly stamped by the Director/HOD of their graduating institution (for A'level candidates), to the Registrar, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, no later than Friday, August 15, 2025.

▪️ Only candidates who complete their application before the stipulated deadline will be considered for admission.

▪️ It is your sole responsibility to ensure you meet the minimum admission requirements before making any payment. If it's discovered at any point that you do NOT meet these requirements, your admission offer will be withdrawn, and any payment made will be NON-REFUNDABLE.
