Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Niger State School of Health Technology, Minna Certificate and Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

APPLICATION FEE

AVAILABLE PROGRAMMES & REQUIREMENTS

CERTIFICATE IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (JCHEW)

▪ Minimum of Three (3) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO/GCE SSCE.

▪ Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and Biology.

▪ Two passes in other relevant subjects are required.

▪ Physics and Chemistry are added advantages.

DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH (CHEW)

▪ Minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

▪ Holders of JCHEW Certificate can apply for 200 Level admission.

MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN (MLT)

▪ Minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects required: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

▪ O’Level result must not be more than 10 years old.

▪ Holders of Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) Certificate can also apply.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (PT)

▪ Five (5) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects required: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

PROFESSIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (HIM) / MEDICAL RECORD

▪ Minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects required: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.

ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (EVT)

▪ Minimum of Four (4) O’Level Credits and One Pass at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects must include English Language and Biology/Health Science.

▪ Any two of the following are also required:
▪ Mathematics
▪ Geography
▪ Physics
▪ Chemistry
▪ Agricultural Science

▪ Holders of Environmental Health Assistant Certificate can apply for 200 Level admission.

DIPLOMA IN HEALTH EDUCATION & PROMOTION (HPE)

▪ Minimum of Four (4) O’Level Credits at not more than two sittings.

▪ Subjects must include:
▪ English Language
▪ Mathematics
▪ Biology/Health Science
▪ Any other relevant subject
