LASUED Indigeneship Verification Exercise: How to Apply & What You Must Know

 

The Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) has announced an extension of its Indigeneship Verification Exercise for the 2025/2026 admission session.

This verification is mandatory for all candidates of Lagos State origin who selected LASUED as their first-choice institution in the UTME and scored 170 or above.

Key Information

Eligibility

■ Must be of Lagos State origin.

■ Must have selected LASUED as first choice.

■ Must have scored 170 or higher in UTME.

Payment

1. Payment must be made online only through the official LASUED website.

2. Candidates are warned not to pay into personal or unofficial accounts.

Venue

■ Physical interview and document screening will take place at Senator Oluremi Tinubu Hall, LASUED.

Direct Entry & Revalidation

1. Direct Entry applicants of Lagos State origin are required to participate.

2. Candidates from the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 sessions who were not admitted must revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates in person.

■ Participation in this exercise is compulsory before a candidate can proceed to LASUED's Post UTME screening.

■ Verification does not automatically guarantee admission.

■ The process is only for Lagos State indigenes.
