University of Abuja, UNIABUJA Matriculation Ceremony Date for 2025/2026 Academic Session has been announced. 

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has announced the date for its Matriculation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The University of Abuja cordially invites members of the general public to her Matriculation Ceremony, which has been scheduled to hold as follows:

▪ Date: Thursday, 12th February, 2026
▪ Time: 10:00 a.m. prompt
▪ Venue: Convocation Ground, Main Campus, Abuja

HOW TO COLLECT MATRICULATION GOWN

As preparations are underway for the Matriculation Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, 12th February, 2026, fresh students are advised that the collection of matriculation gowns will commence on Monday, 9th February, 2026.

▪ Gowns are to be collected from the Faculty Officer
▪ A stamped school fees receipt must be presented before collection
▪ Academic gowns must be returned immediately after the ceremony
▪ A late-return penalty of ₦5,000 per day applies

Students are required to sign the matriculation register immediately after the ceremony.

While students are free to invite their parents, families, and friends to grace the occasion, designated stands will be provided for such invitees to ensure they do not interfere with the conduct of the ceremony.
