The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has announced the release of the National Diploma ND and Higher National Diploma HND Admission Upgrade Form for the 2025 2026 academic session.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Upgrade Programme in accredited National Diploma and Higher National Diploma courses offered by the institution.

The application form costs Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira only.

Objectives of the Programme

The Upgrade Programme was introduced in response to community requests to enable former students of the Polytechnic who graduated at Pass level in both ND and HND programmes to improve their results in line with approved Polytechnic academic standards.

Admission Requirements

Candidates eligible to apply must meet the following requirements:

▪ Must have obtained National Diploma and or Higher National Diploma results or certificates at Pass level from the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi

▪ Must possess a minimum of five O Level credit passes in relevant subjects

▪ O Level credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings

Duration and Mode of Lecture Delivery

▪ The programme runs for one academic session only

▪ The session is divided into two semesters

▪ Lectures will be delivered through a combination of physical classes and online platforms using approved digital systems

How to Apply

Applicants are required to follow the steps below:

▪ Visit the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi portal at
https://portal.fptb.edu.ng

▪ Click on Online Admission

▪ Enter the required details and generate a payment slip RRR

▪ Proceed to any bank to make payment of the non refundable application fee of Six Thousand Five Hundred Naira

▪ After payment, return to the portal and continue the application using the Application Number and phone number used to start the process

Closing Date

All applications must be completed and submitted online not later than six weeks from the date of publication of this admission notice.
