UNILORIN JUPEB Form 2026/2027 Is Out [UPDATED]

 University of Ilorin, UNILORIN JUPEB form for the 2026/2027 academic session is out. With your JUPEB result, you can gain admission into 200 level. Lectures will commence in September 2026. See other vital information below. 

This programme is suitable for candidates who do not have hope in their JAMB score, perhaps because of a low score, candidates who have no JAMB score, or those who are yet to write JAMB.

The University of Ilorin admits students through its JUPEB programme, popularly referred to as admission without JAMB.

ABOUT JUPEB PROGRAMME

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) is a national examination body approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The Board is responsible for conducting common and standard examinations for candidates who have undergone a minimum of one year of approved learning in universities and are seeking Direct Entry admission into university courses at the 200 level in Nigerian and participating foreign universities.

ABOUT UNILORIN JUPEB PROGRAMME

University of Ilorin is one of the partnering universities for JUPEB. The university will train candidates for the JUPEB examination.

Successful candidates will be eligible for Direct Entry admission into 200 level at the University of Ilorin and other participating universities through JAMB.

Admission of JUPEB graduates into the University of Ilorin shall be based strictly on merit and other entry requirements, in proportion to the admission quota of the university for various programmes.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE TO OBTAIN UNILORIN JUPEB FORM

Applicants must possess credits in at least five relevant O’Level subjects.

The required subjects must include:

▪ English Language

▪ Mathematics

▪ Any other three relevant O’Level subjects

The O’Level results may be obtained from WASC/SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent examinations.

The required five credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

Candidates with awaiting results may also apply.

Applicants are required to register for a combination of three subjects out of the available subjects, according to their proposed course of study at the university.

HOW TO APPLY FOR UNILORIN JUPEB

Interested applicants can follow the application steps below:

STEP 1: Visit the University of Ilorin website at unilorin.edu.ng to access the JUPEB portal.

STEP 2: Applicants should have a valid e-mail address and phone number.

STEP 3: Sign up by completing the registration form with the correct personal details.

STEP 4: Confirm the account through the e-mail sent to the applicant's inbox. The confirmation link will be sent to the e-mail address used during registration.

STEP 5: After confirming the e-mail address, log in to the account.

STEP 6: Make the required online application payment.

GENERAL INFORMATION TO APPLICANTS

▪ Limited accommodation is available for successful applicants after completion of registration.

▪ Allocation of the available accommodation spaces will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

▪ Students who fail the JUPEB examinations may be allowed to re-apply for the programme.

▪ Following admission, registration and commencement of the programme, requests for refund of school fees will not be entertained for any student who voluntarily withdraws from the programme.

▪ Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦20,000.
