UI Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure 2025/2026 Session [UPDATED]

 University of Ibadan (UI) Acceptance Fee Amount and the Payment Procedure for 2025/2026 Session has been Released. See how to pay your fees via procedure below. 

This is to inform all students who have been offered admission into the University of Ibadan (UI) through UTME/DE that the management of the institution has announced that payment of the acceptance fee has commenced.

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are hereby advised to proceed with the payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000.00) on www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. Candidates who are yet to generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will NOT be entertained.

All admitted students must have printed their JAMB Admission Letter before they can pay the UI non-refundable acceptance of Fifty Thousand Naira only (N50,000). 

Candidates who are yet to check their admission status and generate their admission letters are advised to do so before payment of the fee. Request for a refund of the acceptance fee will not be entertained. 

UI Acceptance Fee Payment Period

Candidates who have been offered admission and have generated their admission letters on CAPS are required to pay a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50,000.00) via the University Admission Portal: www.admissions.ui.edu.ng. The admission portal will open on Monday, 10 November, 2025 to Friday, 05 December, 2025. 

Note: There will be no extension of the deadline.

UI Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure

Candidates are to carefully follow the payment guidelines below:

Step 1: Login

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS 
Candidates are required to log-in to the Admission Portal using their login details. 

▪ Visit www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.
▪ Log in to the Admission Portal using your login details.

Step 2: Select Payment Option

Card: Pay online using a Credit/Debit (ATM) Card.
Bank Branch: Print the payment slip from the admission portal and make payment at any bank.
▪ After payment at the bank, log in again to the portal to reconcile your payment.

Step 3: Print Payment Receipt

▪ After a successful transaction, print the payment success receipt from the portal.

Important Notes

▪ After payment of the prescribed acceptance fee, candidates are required to present the originals of their credentials to designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance at a date to be communicated later.
▪ Candidates who are found qualified at the clearance exercise will be matriculated as bona fide students of the University.
▪ The University reserves the right to withdraw admission if it is discovered at any time that a candidate gained admission with insufficient, irregular, or fake credentials.

Documents to Upload After Payment

Candidates are to proceed to upload the following documents on the admission portal:

▪ Institution’s copy of the JAMB Admission Letter
O’Level result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
PIN/SERIAL Numbers of WAEC/NECO Scratch Cards for result verification

Additional Information

▪ Candidates whose admission has been approved but not yet accepted on JAMB CAPS must first accept their admission before paying the acceptance fee.
▪ Further information on clearance will be released in due course.
▪ Candidates are advised to regularly check the portal for updates.
▪ Do not transact with any individual, group, or website other than the official University of Ibadan portal.
