RSUST Clearance Exercise for Freshers 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

RSUST clearance exercise for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session has been announced.

The management of Rivers State University (RSU) has announced the schedule for the clearance exercise for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This is to inform all candidates who were offered Provisional Admission and have accepted the offer of admission into Year One (1) and Direct Entry into the Rivers State University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, that the physical clearance exercise shall commence as follows:

Commencement Date: Wednesday, 5th November 2025
Closing Date: Friday, 7th November 2025
Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm daily
Venue: Information Communication Technology Centre (ICTC), Rivers State University

The exercise will take place at the Information, Communication and Technology Centre (ICTC) of the university and will later continue at the respective faculties.

RSU Clearance Documents for Freshers

All admitted students are required to present the following documents during the clearance exercise:

▪ JAMB Admission Letter
▪ Original JAMB Result
▪ Accepted Admission Status from JAMB (CAPS)
▪ Original O’level Certificates
▪ Birth Certificate
▪ LGA Identification Letter
▪ Acceptance Fee Receipt
▪ Other printouts from the Student’s RSU Portal

Note: The University Authority wishes to emphasize that any candidate who fails to clear his/her admission before the expiration of the deadline will lose the admission. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the schedule and instructions to ensure a smooth clearance process.
