The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna 2025/2026 academic session 78th Regular Course admission application form is now on sale. The Closing Date is 30 April 2026.

Online application for admission into the 78th Regular Course will be available from Friday 28 November 2025 to 30 April 2026.

Admission into NDA is open to both MALE and FEMALE Nigerians.

Candidates should log on to the application portal www.ndaapplications.net, select "Purchase Access Code" and pay via REMITA after generating their ORDER ID and RRR Code for ₦7,000.00 only.
Only payments made against RRR Codes generated on the portal are accepted.

The NDA Screening Test will serve as phase one of the Post-UTME screening at designated centres across the country.
Only candidates with JAMB 2026 Registration Number are eligible to write the exam.

NDA 78TH REGULAR COURSE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Prospective cadets must also apply to JAMB and choose NDA as First Choice Institution, then sit for UTME.

Candidates must:

▪ Be medically and physically fit and of good moral character
▪ Be single (male or female) without legal responsibility for any child or dependent
▪ Present a Certificate of Indigeneship
▪ Be 17–21 years old by August 2026
▪ Have at least 5 O’level credits — English, Mathematics + 3 relevant subjects (max 2 sittings)
▪ Have passed UTME and meet acceptable national cut-off standard
▪ Height requirement: 1.68m (male), 1.65m (female)
▪ French, Arabic or Mandarin is an added advantage

NOTE:

▪ Awaiting result candidates are not qualified
▪ Only O’level results not older than 5 years are accepted
▪ Admission is open to male and female, but females are limited to Navy and Airforce
▪ Cadets are full-time students, not federal employees

NATURE & DURATION OF TRAINING

▪ Army: 5 years of military + academic training
▪ Navy & Airforce : 4 years

On successful completion, cadets earn:

▪ BSc, BEng or BA degree
▪ A Presidential Commission into the Nigerian Armed Forces

NDA SCREENING TEST CONDITIONS

Only candidates with:

▪ Minimum UTME score 180 (Arts/Social Science/Science)
▪ Minimum 210 (Engineering)

Screening Test Requirements

Candidates must bring:

▪ Acknowledgement Form
▪ Screening Test Admission Card
▪ JAMB result slip
▪ Two (2) postcard photos (3.5 × 5 inches) containing on back:
– Name
– Exam Number
– State
– Centre
– Course
– Signature

Only successful candidates from the test proceed to AFSB (Stage 2).

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

Forms must be submitted online with scanned SSCE results.
After submission, candidates must download the Acknowledgement Form.
