ABSU Acceptance Fee Payment Procedure 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

Abia State University, ABSU Acceptance Fee Procedure 2025/2026 academic session.

Abia State University (ABSU) welcomes all newly admitted students! Paying your acceptance fee is an essential step to secure your admission and begin your academic journey for the 2025/2026 academic session.

This guide simplifies the entire process into three easy steps to ensure a smooth and successful payment.

GUIDE ON HOW TO PAY YOUR ACCEPTANCE FEE

Step 1: Generate and Print the Acceptance Fee Invoice
▪ Log in to the ABSU student portal at www.portal.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng.
▪ Go to Applicants, click Check Admissions Status Dashboard, enter your application details, and select Generate Invoice for the acceptance fee.
▪ Print the invoice—this is what you’ll take to the bank.
▪ Alternatively, you can pay directly using your debit card on the Interswitch platform.

Step 2: Pay the Acceptance Fee Online or at the Bank
▪ Take the printed invoice to any of the following banks: Zenith Bank, UBA, Access Bank, Union Bank, Fidelity Bank, or ABSU Micro-Finance Bank.
▪ Inform the teller that you want to pay the ABSU Acceptance Fee via Interswitch.
▪ After payment, collect your bank receipt—it will include an Invoice Number.

Step 3: Confirm Payment on the Portal
▪ Return to the ABSU portal.
▪ Follow the prompts to verify your payment.
▪ Generate and print your official acceptance fee receipt from the portal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

▪ Ensure you retain all your payment documents until you obtain your official receipt from the portal.
▪ You’ll need access to the student portal, a printer (or a digital copy of the invoice), and either a debit card for online payment or cash for the bank.
▪ Follow all steps carefully to avoid any issues with your admission confirmation.
