UNILAG Important Update on 2025/2026 Admission Exercise

UNILAG Issues Urgent Notice for 2025 Admission Course Changes. 

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has issued an urgent notice to all prospective candidates regarding adjustments made to some 2025/2026 admission course placements.

According to the announcement, a number of applicants who did not meet the cut-off marks for their originally chosen courses or programmes have been reassigned to new courses/programmes by the institution.

Important Instructions to Candidates

▪ Affected candidates are strongly advised to check their Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portals starting from Monday, October 27, 2025, to view any updates on their admission status.

▪ Candidates must ACCEPT or REJECT the new course offered to them within 24 hours of receiving the notification on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

▪ Failure to take action within the stipulated time will result in automatic forfeiture of admission.

▪ All applicants are therefore urged to check their CAPS regularly and respond promptly to any updates.
